Love it!Many of our friends had gotten front load washer and dryers. We were perfectly happy with our whirlpool set that was 18 years old. When the dryer finally went out we thought we'd better get a new set. We knew we were getting a Whirlpool because our last set had lasted so long! I am happy to say this machine is fairly easy to use and keeps up with our family of 4 quite nicely. I like that you have the option to stack or use as a side by side. Also, ours smells great too! Which was a great concern of alot of my friends and their frontlaods. I am happy we chose the pair that we chose. Thanks Whirlpool, for making a superior product.

Many Repairs! Seal inside door stinks! The seal around the door stinks. You can buy products to clean it, or clean with bleach, but really it is a pain in the neck. If you don't clean it, it gets moldy. The drain always gets stuffed with infant socks, money, or any little thing you leave in a pocket-an empty candy wrapper etc. and then either you pay someone to clean out the drain because you don't know what is wrong, or with much effort and special tools you clean out the drain yourself after taking apart the machine, and it smells terrible and makes a HUGE mess. Before you buy, check out you tube videos online on how to fix this. Do yourself a favor, and just don't buy this machine. Who wants a stinky machine that breaks down all the time? Yuck.

Stay away! Worst Washer Ever!!!We purchased this less than 3years ago and It's motor board died and the repair man said it would cost $425.00 to fix/replace it. Everyone I have talked to including repair companies say nothing but bad things about front loaders and the addition of more technology. With washers less is more and will last you a lot longer. So we went out and purchased another ____ top loader with the least amount of new technology most similar to the one we owned b4 that lasted 15years and 6 moves!!! We will never purchase another Whirlpool nor another front loader. Another side note that someone told me to keep front loader from stinking you must leave door ajar and the afresh does not clean it!

Love options for wrinkle control. We purchased this product because I was frustrated with the way my old machines wrinkled the clothes. I would literally stand by the machine to stop the spin cycle or everything was a tangled mess. This machine offers a 'hand wash' and 'delicate' cycle that works wonders. The dryer has a feature that will buzz and stop the cycle when it senses the clothes are still damp. The dryer also has a feature that will periodically toss the clothes after the cycle ends as well as a steam fresh cycle. We are using less water which I am sure will have a positive effect on our water bill.

Overall very nice pair (washer and dryer). Get the job done. The washer cycles take longer then what is shown. I would have liked a more explicit instruction manual for the cycles. I think because the water is so hard the clothes don't seem to be as clean. ( I came from a location that had good water.)But they do offer a verity of cycle options, are quiet, and beautiful. I never had a front load washer before so it takes some getting use to. Sometimes I would like to have an option that would add more water to the cycle. I also either have to leave the door open or wipe out the washer under the door gasket, as I don't want mold. I also feel I need to dry the dispenser for the same reason. I love being able to have a counter above them! Makes sorting and folding very nice!

Worth the wait!We waited for over a year for a new washer. Initially, we thought our dryer was the problem our clothes were taking forever to dry, taking 2-3 cycles before the clothes were dry. We decided we wouldn't buy anything new until the unit quit. Well, the washing machine quit before the dryer. The first load with our new Whirlpool Duet and we realized our dryer was working just fine. All along it was the washer that was the problem! We love the ease of the new washer & can get our loads done faster than ever before! Looking forward to having a matching dryer down the road!

OK for a while, but didn’t last like it should. We quickly learned how to keep it at least reasonably fresh smelling, so that wasn’t so bad. 3 years in the front door seal started leaking. Bought a new one (which was an improved design), reviewed the videos and replaced it without too much problem. 5 years old and we get a new error message that means the two main circuit boards are not communicating (main board and motor control board). Checked the wiring harnesses between the two, check the connections, checked for continuity & everything checked out fine. That means one of the boards is bad, but you can’t tell which one. On line, the motor board is about $250 and the main board is about $350. We decided to go buy a new top loader instead. And not a Whirlpool.

first HE washerI have had none of the problems others have had. I must admit that there is a learning curve as I have never had a HE front loader. Quiet. Holds king sheet set and king blanket (not together). Has all the features I could want. I have my washer and dryer stacked and there is no visible vibration. I have an elderly dog that sometimes doesn't make it to the door. Washed the towel I wiped up dog urine using HE liquid detergent and fabric softner. No odor left on towel. I think the biggest thing is figuring out what cycle to use on what loads. I have no complaints.

have always used whirlpool for my washer & dryer and they arThe refrigerator is very spacious but quite noisey and already need a repair the sealant is broken and ice is building up in the refrigerator, also since the shelves on the door are so ddep it is easy for your elbow to hit the shelf and it comes flying down and cracks, yes that happened after 1 month. I only have it 2 months, I hope this is not an indication of the future.I just replaced this refrigerator with another brand that was a disaster, I then decide to use Whirlpool and pay additonal $1,000. I guess in this case price does not make a difference.

Its great but....The only thing I dont give the wash machine a full great rating is that after a load, there is hair or light dirt on lip below door. take care looking items dont get caught under rubber drain. leave a litte 5 inch gap from inside when loading clothes, dont pack. and water remains in soap dispenser when load is done, I make sure I pull out and drain, and leave to dry before putting back. Bought dryer also, no problems allll great. Oh a straight walls side by side. dont try to fit in square room. doors on appliances have opening and closing issues.
