Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappycustomer from Terrible dryer! I purchased this dryer in December 2023, and it's already making a loud, squeaky noise that makes it unusable. I contacted Whirlpool customer service and was told it would cost $337 just to have a technician come out to diagnose and fix the issue. If it turns out the dryer can't be repaired, I’d only receive a partial refund, $135 would be deducted. At this point, I might as well buy a new dryer. My previous Maytag one at least lasted four years. It's incredibly disappointing that appliances today seem to be built without longevity in mind. Based on this experience, I would not consider purchasing another Whirlpool appliance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JLH25 from Sub-par This is a sub-par dryer. First, it’s loud and needs something heavy put on top of it to keep it from rattling. And in time dry setting, the cool down period, prevents your clothes from finishing drying unless you put it on the maximum amount of time which does not seem energy efficient. Same thing happens in the auto dry cycle, it seems like the wrinkles shield timing prevents the clothes from finishing drying. And there is a buzz that is light in nature that goes on or stays on after the dryer is finished and you have to jiggle the “push to start” button or the cycle button to make it stop.

I sent back and LG washer and purchased the matching washer to this dryer. However, I then had a mismatched pair so I went ahead and purchased the dryer to match. Couldn't be happier with them. Great laundry pair and pleased I decided to make the purchase. Thanks Whirlpool! I have been your customer for 50+ years and will continue for another 50.

It came with intermittent heating (took off a star for this since we couldn't use it when it first arrived), but after a very simply scheduled service call and quick repair, it started working very well for us. Not many bells and whistles, but after fighting with the bells on the old one, we're happy to report that this one does its job well.

We were in desperate need of a dryer as ours went out so we purchased one from Whirlpool directly and we couldn't be happier we did as we thought home depot or a third party store would be the only best option but buying straight from Whirlpool was the best choice for the fact that not only was it cheaper but guaranteed a liget machine and brand new with fast shipping straight to our door! Thanks Whirlpool we will be making future purchases.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Krow54 from Swap out We bought the dryer 3 weeks ago. Around 1.5 weeks, something broke and the drum quit spinning and it quit drying our clothes. The appliance technicians had to call out sick and then it was going to be another week before anyone else could make it out to take a look at the dryer. Thankfully, the owner of the store said that we shouldn’t have to wait that long to have a brand new dryer looked at and told us that if we could bring it in, he would swap it out for us. We got the exact same dryer and praying that this one lasts a long time!
