I bought this unit a few months back and wish I would have kept the packaging so I could return it. Whether it's a leveling foot screw hole that was never tapped, a defective door seal spoiling all your food, or some other trash product brought to you by Whirlpool, I can assure you that you do not want to buy THIS fridge. I have now wasted a month of my life without a functioning fridge and tens of hours of my life listening to terrible music while sitting on hold with customer service and seen a lot a great moods destroyed by this companies lack of attention to its customer!. No part of this company cares about your satisfaction, or at least mine!

Downloaded app, and was directed to what I thought was the correct ice maker. It still was wrong. attempted to contact parts depot. After being on hold for an hour, I was told I had the correct icemailer, put on hold, then disconnected. Called the next day, was told I have the incorrect ice maker, given a third part number, but was told the item was out of stock, and directed to a fourth part number which was a universal ice maker, which also appeared to have the incorrect connection to the refrigerator.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PA SteveO from Temperature control not working I received this regrigerator on June 3, 2020. I put a thermometer in the refrigerator to monitor the temperature. It held steady at 44 degrees. I would like it somewhere around 37 degrees. The temperature control has a small asterisk, a medium asterisk and a large asterisk. There is a green light above the medium size asterisk. I pressed the large asterisk and the green light remains above the medium size asterisk, a day later the temperature is still 44 degree. I press and hold the large asterisk for about 3 or 4 seconds and the green light remains above the medium size asterisk, a day later the temperature is still 44 degrees. Is something broke or am I not adjusting it properly?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marson from Loved at first. Worked great for about 2 months Loved it at first. Added the ice maker as this was one of the main reason for purchasing this model. Compact and you could add the ice maker. Worked great for about two months then just stopped cooling. Whirlpool customer service isn’t knowledgeable at about the unit or the service companies that schedule to repair the unit. Apparently the unit has some kind of newer gas and not many people will service the units. I’m now on the the third service company. So let’s see what happens. I will definitely be purchasing the extended warranty as I do expect future problems. May ask the they replace the warranty whole unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NatM from Awful quality I bought this refrigerator in December 2022 and about 5 months later it wasn’t cooling that well so I unplugged it and plugged it in it work but food got spoiled. Then in March it was over freezing the freezer and not cooling the refrigerator called whirlpool and they bounced me around them and Best Buy where I bought it neither helped me and 100’s of dollars of groceries gone to waste. They were charming me 150 to just check it and if anything was needed additional fees. Very unhappy I will never buy another whirlpool appliance and I will make sure to let everyone I know not to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by j777 from Good so far but... I've only had this new Whirlpool refrigerator a few weeks. It seems best for a smaller kitchen or apartment and at 11.6 cubic feet be aware that it won't easily accommodate a large number of items. My food seems cold enough and I've had no spoilage so far. My only concern: I have a new, supposedly consumer-magazine tested thermometer inside the refrigerator, and it often reads around 42 degrees (F). That is a little high according to what I've read. Note that I have the refrigerator set at the recommended setting from the manual (..there are only three levels available). The next higher-up setting is too cold.
