I moved back and remembered that this thing had never been able to clean my glasses, leaving a nasty looking film on them, no matter what detergent I use. I even ran every cycle as a test to justify replacement. I got a new job that got me 50% off of a $1,500 Bosch dishwasher, so I’m replacing this one. Super, super disappointed. After all of the research, Whirlpool was supposed to be one of the top. My Whirlpool oven can’t even self clean. One day I’ll have a full Bosch kitchen. No more American made garbage. I should’ve known, it’s just like cars.

I bought it and less than a year later it sits in my kitchen useless as I am handwashing my dishes. It won't complete the wash cycle, won't wash the dishes, won't dissolve the detergent pod. I regret buying this dishwasher every single day. There is nothing about this product that is worth spending a penny on. I now use mine to store dishes that I don't use as often as others. So if you are looking for something that will be functional for more than a year for the intended purpose of washing dishes look at a different product because this dishwasher will leave you with dishpan hands and regret.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MEOS from If I could give a 0 I would!!!! Purchased at Home Depot on 3/28 and had installed by a licensed plumber. From the first minute water pours out of the dishwasher onto the floor. Dishwasher is totally unusable. No response from Home Depot, Whirlpool says they can’t help me, I have to work through the Home Depot store I purchased at. The earliest appointment I was able to schedule for Whirlpool to “look at” the problem was 4/22/2021. I am currently out over $1200. and do not have a working appliance. I am only writing this review because Whirlpool sent me an email asking me to review my experience. This should not be legal, no response to an appliance that was DOA!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Monsieur Kirby from Caused stainless steel flatware to rust This dishwasher has a tray on the door for utensils. It's a cool feature, because it provides more room for dishes. However, I quickly noticed that all my utensils doesn't wash completely clean when placed in this tray. With heated dry, they also don't dry completely. In fact, I'm noticing rust on my stainless steel flatware because they just aren't being dried properly. It's bad enough that a dishwasher fails to properly clean dishes and utensils, but it's even worse, now that it's ruining my flatware. This isn't my first Whirlpool appliance that's provided me underwhelming performance, but it might just be the worst so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jumoke from Defective, Defective, Defective I had this delivered a week ago and it nearly flooded my basement. I bought it online through Home Depot's site, and originally thought the installation is what made it leak through my wood floors to my basement. But after the technicians came back to my house yesterday, they found out the machine was defective and took pictures of the broken parts.. Now I have welped wood floors, and sagging paint on my basement ceiling -- in my newly renovated house that I just bought 2 years ago!!.. I was told that someone will come out to replace the dishwasher and repair my basement ceiling and floors.. We'll see..

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good washer / bad dryer We liked the modern design and flexibility of multiple spots that can hold the utensil basket. The dishwasher washes well but we have noticed it does not dry the dishes much. We have tried every possible combination of settings and have read the manual, but whether the dishes sit for one day or three days, they are always wet. We have added JetDry (I read that it helps during the drying cycle) but it has not helped. I run a daycare so I run the dishwasher 1-2 times per day, but I have to spend time drying all of the dishes when it's time to unload. I need a quick turn on unloading and loading so I really wish it did a better job at drying the dishes.
