Looks great, wish I felt it was a quality buy!Ordered this in early december and finally received in early February. The oven gives off a high pitched whine, that I understand is a fan that blows constantly when the oven (s) are on.I tried the "steam clean" option and it does not work. warranty repair person has come twice and replaced a part, but still does not work. Another part is now ordered and we hope that will solve that problem. However ON line technician told repairman that if working the temperature will reach between 180-200 degrees. Its my understanding steam does not occur until boiling temperature is reached (212 deg.) So how it can steam clean is achieved is still a question in my mind. But darn! it looks good

Replaced 35 year old ovensComing into the digital age takes some time. We are getting used to it. I like that it is easy to clean. Big wide oven windows are a plus too. It seems to take quite awhile to pre-heat compared with our ancient one. The fan running to cool it off after cooking is louder and longer than anticipated, but not as long as others according to my friends. Cooking is even once you get the rack placement right. Read the manual that comes with the ovens. It is very good. Overall, they are very attractive and updated the kitchen, temperatures seem accurate and they are fairly priced. Couldn't ask for more....other than these don't need replacing for a long, long time!

EXTREMELY loud, instructions hard to figure out, bad fumes! Not a fan of this oven! Had my old Whirlpool replaced recently. This one is so noisy. It has a continuous loud whirling blowing, whistling noise during the entire heat up, cool down, and baking times. Hope it was installed correctly because there doesn't seem to be any heat venting from unit like the old unit I had. It also has had a bad smell of fumes these last few weeks, which I suppose is normal, but almost sickening.Controls are hard to figure out, and I can't seem to find a timer. Not sure if cooking temperature is correct. Instruction booklet not easy to follow.Wish I could have found parts for my old Whirlpool double oven. I do not enjoy this one at all!

Don't buy this, you'll be sorryI bought this 2 weeks ago to replace a whirlpool oven that died after 9 years. I was in disbelief when I turned on the oven and heard how loud the fan is. The hum, rattle & whistle is extremely loud & irritating, and can even be heard upstairs. A tech came out and said "this is the design". They will not take it back because it was installed. How arrogant of Whirlpool to foist a poorly designed product on the consumer. My only consolation is that it probably won't last any longer then the one I replaced. I have a whole kitchen full of Whirlpool appliances. I will not be buying any more. How sad.

Good looking oven but noisy and heats kitchen.Purchased this oven in January 2013. Had a hard time accepting that the noise level is normal. The fan is very loud and runs the whole time during the cooking and cooling cycle. Raises the temperature of my kitchen at least 2 degrees which is very unproductive when trying to keep the house temperature down. Tends to burn my baking and notice when cooking a pizza the oven smokes inside so don't open the door! Also burns the pizza when baking the recommended time. This oven has nice features ie: steam clean, no visible heating elements, but the negatives far outweigh the positives. Would definitely not recommend.

Noisy Fan After Finished BakingWe've had this oven for just over a month and have become very disappointed with it. It replaced another Whirlpool oven that was 20 years old and quiet as a mouse. This oven has a fan that runs continuously after being tuned on until 30 - 45 minutes after cooking.A repair man just left and said that just the way it is! I object! This is a poor design, Whirlpool do better! With the newer homes of an open architecture and design, this is very disturbing and annoying to hear whilst we are eating. Please come up with a fix for this or we will need to look for another solution from your competitors.

Saving ThanksgivingOur previously owned oven went out before our upcoming Thanksgiving Day celebration.OH NO!With 3 daughters, their husbands, and 8 grandchildren coming to our house for the holiday, what are we going to do? Buy the crew the Thanksgiving meal at a local restaurant? NO! All the tried and true recipes, mouth watering side dishes, and of course the perfect Turkey just wouldn't be there. So it's Whirlpool to the rescue! We purchased and had our new Double Oven installed the week before our celebration! Thank You Whirlpool, everything went well and our new oven is a dream come true. All our guests enjoyed the perfect Thanksgiving meal and our new over will see many more such celebrations.

Gift me w/appliaces! from
Love everything about it!I am an odd wife that loves appliances as gifts so this is my early Christmas present before the holidays!! I regularly cook for crowds, which includes most often our family of 7. What I found I enjoy most, is not only the flexibility of baking different dishes at the same time at different temps, but I love the 'set start time' feature which allows me to have the oven preheated even before I crawl out of bed. I haven't cleaned it yet and am anxious to use the self cleaning option. I am rating with 4 stars vs 5 because I have nothing to compare it to and even tho it's excellent for me I do not have experience with other brands. But I am loving my double oven and the price was fantastic!

Exactly what I needed! This oven is big, stylish, easy to use and clean! Love the steam clean feature. If you do a little of a lot of entertaining, this oven will be a perfect addition to your kitchen. You can cook tons of food in the top and back a cake in the bottom with all over even cooking for both. I like that the heat element is on the top only. I use the bottom of the oven as an extra shelf at times. Convenient controls & easy to install.Only cons are that the blower stays on way too long after shutting off the oven and it is too loud. It also takes a longer time than usual to preheat to the desired temp.

Bakes Well; Fan Noise ExistsDue to space limitations, we were constrained to purchasing a 27 inch double wall oven. There was a small learning curve as the ovens seem to bake faster than the replaced oven. We've had this oven less than a month, so we will be monitoring cook times closely in the near future.Regarding the fan noise mentioned in other reviews, it is noticeable and the fan runs from preheating to cool down after baking. The good news is the fan draws the heated air through the venting below the lower oven, which to us is preferred to venting through the oven top to pass directly into cabinets above the oven.
