Rated 3 out of 5 by ELC. from Some what disappointed. Purchased in May 2022. The front burner on the right doesn't turn on until knob is rotated to the "med" position. When we bought the stove that same burner needed to set at "2" to turn on. Slightly more than the other burns but not a big deal. Over time it has gotten progressively worse. It gradually needed to turn the burner up higher for the burner to come on. I'm righting this today now to warn others if you have this problem in the beginning handle it. It's a gradual decline easy to overlook until your in my situation. So shame on me, but I'm still disappointed. I expected better from whirlpool. When we purchased this range we replaced all of our kitchen appliances. We wanted all Whirlpool brand with fingerprint resistant finish (refrigerator, dishwasher microwave). I will say the fingerprint resistant stainless is nice. All of the other appliances are high end, which makes this somewhat traditional range kinda boring in comparison. All other burns work as they should. The oven is decent but could use another rack, and the broiler only works with the door shut (or something propped against the push in switch). I wanted a double oven like the one we replaced, but Whirlpool didn't/doesn't have one if the fingerprint resistant stainless available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jillspill from Giant pile of garbage. We bought this stove/oven and do yourself a favor and invest a bit more and buy something else. Shortly after installation, the oven door broke. We had it fixed. A year later and I just opened the door turned around to grab what I was putting into the oven and it sounded like a gun went off, because the door broke under its own weight. Again. We bought a matching fridge at the same time and it is just as worthless.

We have been married 64 years and always had the range with the electric elements where the an sat directly on the element. The electric element was controlled by a rheostat where the more you tuned the knob the hotter the element got. On this new range the elements are either on and red hot or they are off. So when the element is on, the stuff you are cooking is burning to the bottom of the pan. This is a terrible design...Also the bottom drawer has a very low back in it, I don't know why, but if put too many trays or cooking sheets in it, they fall out the back.

I love the glass top and the oven worked fine up until the week before Christmas 2020. Now nothing. You can turn it on and the "heat" light doesn't come on and neither of the elements will get hot on any setting. Not sure if its the elements, the wiring or the control panel at the top. How mulch money do I put into this before I just purchase a new stove? From the information that I found it was purchased in June or July 2019 so it's out of warranty.
