It saddens me to see the few reviews here that are negative and are clueless that not all things work right, this is a counter top model and it's design is not one where it is built to be enclosed. That being said I am very happy with this unit, love the space and the control of cooking or re-heating items going on two years, money well spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RonKohl from Used several times a day for 2 years. Fine so far Built in with the kit. Calibrated the power settings based on the fraction of the cycle time it is on. Energy output agrees with previous microwave. We use it several times a day using the cook-time and cook-power settings. Read the manual. I do not use it for the features. 30-second input by hitting start is quick and handy. Clock is intuitive to set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by IAMOM from Humming noise? UNPLUG!! Worked pretty good until it didn't. Last night I heated up left overs and after I took my food out and shut the door I thought I heard a humming noise coming from the unit. I was hungry so I sat down to eat and a few minutes later there is this burnt electric smell. I get up and instantly run to the kitchen to find the microwave super hot. It was already installed with a trim kit so I frantically had to find a screw driver to get that kit off so I could literally find out if the back of my mircrowave was on fire. Thankfully something in the unit must of shut if down or it just overheated to the point of shutting down. Then as I was removing it out of the cabinet it just pops back on. I shut the door and I hear the same buzzing noise. I unplugged the unit and it's sitting on my dining room table for now. Definitely I moment I will probably never forget. Some say it's a interlock switch that gets stuck but I'm not taking the chance that it will happen again so I will not repair.
