Rated 1 out of 5 by Dayna32 from Noisy This machine is noisy. There should be a recall on the SHORT Drain Line because it is slamming off the back of the machine. I have read people are trying to use sponges behind their lines but for the Price WHY should Anyone needs to? Seems to me this is a defect problem!!! I dislike computer machines, have to split large loads cause not enough water and Hate Locking Lid. Using more energy now, 1 hour per 1/2 load, to run this one as well as extra water. Do like the removable agitator. I wish whirlpool would go back to their Orginal Style because they were the Best. Had mine for 20 Years. In fairness for the general public, Please Post.

It is full of water and will not drain, after looking up every video I could on simple troubleshooting I decided to call whirlpool customer service. After going through their trouble shooting (which felt more like whirlpool trying to somehow make you the responsible one for their terrible product) the agent told me they wouldn’t even be able to send out a technician for 9 days!! I haven’t even owned the machine for 9 days. Save yourself the money, and headache, and just wash your clothes in a river like I’ll probably have to do for the next 9 days while whirlpool enjoys my $700.

I was expecting more for $799. Other than the removable agitator, it is a basic machine, lacking detergent and fabric softener dispensers. I cannot believe I have to use a fabric softener ball, or wait around and listen for the rinse cycle to add fabric softener. I have to wait for the tub to fill to add liquid detergent, or switch to detergent pods. Very disappointing. I’m glad that I only bought the washer, and not the set. When my current dryer dies, I will be selling this one, and purchasing a different washer to match my new dryer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DISAPPOINTED from Very disappointed. Wish I had not bought this. Purchased 14 Aug 22. Started having problems within 2 weeks. What I thought was the "Out of Balance" buzzer @ 120dB, was in fact clutch not engaging. I called Whirlpool and got a service appt. for 28 Oct. The actuator was back ordered. New parts were installed on 21 Nov 22. The problem is the actuator, W10913953, is rated at 2.8 Watts which is apparently not strong enough to engage the clutch. The replacement is rated at 4 Watts. The washer also did not come with the sound barrier, big square thick piece that fits into the bottom of the unit. If there was a zero star rating....... The sound barrier is NLA, that means No Longer Available.

While we know how to operate a washer and dryer we cannot get the water temperature setting to be what we want and the owner’s manual doesn't have any information for this. The quick start says to go to whirlpool.com for this information, well guess what, it is non-existent. This is terrible customer service, also you cannot search via model number you have to scroll and click load more and read the model numbers for each Washer to find your model. This is ridiculous and has taken too long to find out there is no information.

It took me a while to determine that this machine does an extremely poor job of getting anything clean. I regret this purchase more than words can say. I may go buy a different washer and have this hauled to the dump. It do a a poor job of agitating the laundry. Clothing comes out dirty (which you don’t notice until it has gone through the dryer). Queen size sheets come out of the wash with dry patches bigger than both hands splayed out side by side. I am sick over this purchase. Do not buy this machine.
