One of my complaints is you cannot soak your clothes overnight or even for an extended time without the water draining. The other complaint is that my clothes do not get as clean as in the older washers because of the poor agitation. We have purchased a used washer to replace this brand new one and if I had known how it was going to wash we would have paid the money to fix our old one. The man at the used appliance store said the old whirlpool washers are sold as soon as they hit the floor. This new washer is so inferior to it’s predecessor, how could Whirlpool do that to their customers.......

Rated 1 out of 5 by nick from Avoid this washing machine. Two years is not a long enough lifespan for a washing machine. Bought this washing machine at the end of March 2023 and now the washer pump runs continuously (and I'm finding a ton of other people with the same issue). Apparently, it's a design fault with their drain pressure sensor, which is inconvieniently built into the control board. So to fix it, I need to buy an entirely new $300 control panel. Oh, and when I went to take this 21-month old washer apart to diagnose the issues I noticed half the screws in the back were put in crooked and some were stripped. Bad design, cheap parts, shoddy assembly. I want my money back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pinkie 3 from Very loud Had this machine installed today, and did 2 loads of wash to test it out. I found it quite loud compared to my other washers. Maybe I'm not used to an he washer, but I wasn't expecting it to sound like a grinding machine. I'm unhappy with that, and the clicking it makes as it runs thru the cycles. I was wanting a whisper quiet machine. It took 45 minutes to wash and that seemed long, and you really don't have much control on the water levels. Otherwise I like the stainless steel drum, and the way it washes. The salesman said it was quieter than the washer and dryer pair I originally picked. I'll just have to close the laundry room door for the wash cycle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Where’s the water? from Poor operating design The amount of the water fill is determined by the weight of the clothes, not the volume. Really bad idea! Even with the “extra” water feature, the water does not cover the clothes. Consequently, can’t start filling the tub when it is empty, which was my preference with my previous Whirlpool so I could begin mixing the soap & water as I loaded the clothes. This machine also stops Filling the water when the lid is open. The cycle time is VERY LONG. Is that to make up for not enough water? Folks! Hold on to your old washer as long as possible! My previous Whirlpool lasted 20+ years & it was wonderful. It allowed me to judge 1 of 3 water levels needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pninno from DO NOT PURCHASE The washer was installed in our new build home and did not last 2 years despite regular maintenance and moderate use. The fill sensor malfunctioned thus resulting in us needing a new control board. The technician we contracted said this is an ongoing problem for all whirlpool recent Whirlpool washers and to stay away from the brand. Despite our warranty stating the control board was covered for up to 5 years Whirlpool refused to cover it. The machine was fine when it worked, but to not get 24 months out of a new product is a total failure by the manufacturer and even worse considering it is a known issue Whirlpool is choosing not to address.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Louie from Got a Lemon I have had this for several months so it's time I give it a review. From day one the machine shook violently, made a huge bang during a cycle and whenever a cycle was over and stop in the middle of a cycle and the lights would go out. I called a repair man who came and said nothing was wrong and that I should only use the normal cycle and do not use the sensor for the water use the deep fill and only wash six items. Why does this machine have all these options if I can't use them. Besides still doing the things above to add insult to injury my clothes are now coming out with large white streaks. I am so sorry I purchased this machine it was not cheap.
