Control Type

Line drawings and labels illustrating Knob Controls and Intuitive Controls (with Towels and Normal as the options selected)

Knob Controls let you select the cycle by spinning the dial. Intuitive Controls let the washer guide you to the right cycle combinations and customize your own cycles in just a few touches. By giving you the option to choose what you are washing and how you want it to be washed, you’ll get the right type of fabric care for any load.

Steam Clean Option

Icon with a puff of steam

Get help removing everyday stains with the Steam Clean Option, which gets deep into fabrics with increased wash action and heat.

Release wrinkles with the Steam Refresh Cycle. It uses water and heat to get clothes ready to wear without rewashing.

Sanitize Cycle

Icon showing three bacteria with a line crossed through them

The Sanitize Cycle uses increased water temperature to eliminate 99.9% of common household bacteria.

Bacteria tested were K. pneumoniae, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus

TumbleFresh Option

Icon with a t-shirt and a circular arrow

Keep clothes fresh without having to immediately transfer them to the dryer. The TumbleFresh™ Option activates after the wash cycle is finished and tumbles clean clothes periodically to help prevent wrinkles from setting in.

FanFresh® Option

Icon with a t-shirt, fan and a circular arrow

Keep clothes fresh for up to 12 hours after the wash cycle has ended. A built-in fan activates after the wash cycle is over, tumbling clothes for up to 12 hours so you can finish laundry when you're ready.

Quick Wash Cycle

Icon with speed marks and a clock

Wash a lightly soiled load in less time to remove more water so clothes can spend less time in the dryer.

Presoak Option

Icon with a t-shirt in a wash tub and a clock

The Presoak Option lets you skip soaking outside of the washer. Extra time is added in the washer before the wash cycle, which starts automatically when the option is complete.

ADA Compliant

Icon of a person using a wheelchair

ADA appliances meet the Standards for Accessible Design specified by the Americans with Disabilities Act to provide equal access to all. Among many things, ADA Compliant washers have exterior operating parts, such as door handles and washer opening, that are located between 15 and 48 inches above the floor. Washer doors must allow users to open and close doors with one hand, without tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. Force required to open and close the doors must be no more than five pounds.
