I did not expect the craftsmanship to be as poor as it is. All of my home appliances are whirlpool and this is the first one I am disappointed with. Multiple areas that should have caps are left without showing exposed cut raw metal, styrofoam, and insulation. Protective plastic wrap that covers the stainless steel during manufacturing and transportation is trapped between edges and looks poor. Also several tiny holes throughout the inside walls with tiny insulation foam poking out and silicone clumps in edges. Functional it works fine but cosmetically it’s a mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma with7 from Perfect size and no protruding handles I marked performance and quality down only because we had to return the first refrigerator because the freezer wasn't freezing food solid and yet food on the top shelf of the refrigerator was totally freezing. We were hesitant to try again, but it was the perfect size and had no protruding handles. I loved the 3 drawers in the refrigerator and the shelf in the freezer. The next refrigerator has been perfect! The freezer works great and the refrigerator holds a constant temperature. My only concern is that the glass shelves seem thin so I've been afraid they will break with too much weight, but so far there's been no problem.

There is always a build-up of ice in the top freezer. I do not open the door often, and I never leave it open very long. An appliance technician took a look at this on May 28, 2020, and said that it is common with the new refrigerators. This is terrible! My 24-year-old Amana refrigerator never had this problem. I wanted to update my "old white" frig for a new stainless steel. I was not having problems with my 24-year-old Amana. I am NOT HAPPY with the ice build-up. PLEASE HELP. What can be done?

Rated 3 out of 5 by PamS from Love Refrig look, but have had some issues. We switch the doors to open on the right. At the time of delivery we asked the delivery drivers to switch the doors and they commented that there is a different part that needed to be used when switching the doors and therefore refused to switch the doors. We went to the LOWES store we purchased the refrigerator from and they had no idea what part was needed to reverse the doors. We ended reversing the doors ourselves however, now we are noticing significant condensation on the top of the freezer. We also installed an ice maker and are noticing the ice is freezing in clumps. We have leveled, not sure if all of these issues are due to one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy in auburn from Fridge We bought a range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Plus a washer and dryer. The microwave came in and was installed with a dented front door. The refrigerator came in and was installed with a damaged shelf. We purchased through the distributor and icemaker, which was installed by them. The icemaker is still not in operation, it leaked and flooded the freezer compartment. They did replace the damaged shelf, but so far no word on when they will repair the icemaker. They did replace the door on the microwave. In addition, the plastic wrap on the refrigerator did not come off completely when it was uncovered , so no, we are not very happy

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ladybughut from Disappointed - rust and gasket issues already I purchased this fridge new last September and in less than a year the exterior has small rust streaks on it and the freezer gasket is failing. Customer service has been less than satisfactory. I was initially told there was no repairmen in my area and I should have the repair done by my own repairmen and get reimbursed by Whirlpool. When I explained that any local repairmen would not have a replacement freezer door, I was then told the product would be replaced. When I called for an update, I was informed a repairmen had magically been found (of course, instead of a replacement). I’m having to chase for action and updates. Really disappointed in Whirlpool at this point
