This appliance came with our newly built purchase house, it matches with all the other whirlpool kitchen appliances. Since I started using it I noticed that it takes over 3hrs to wash, sanitized, and dry the dishes. And then on top 3hrs+ of washing the dishes aren’t completely dry. There will be water on top of the cups and glasses, and since this came with the house we purchase we don’t know if this is covered with warranty since we could not find any warranty papers anymore. I love my whirlpool double oven and washer and dryer, but very UNHAPPY with the whirlpool dishwasher...

Our kitchen is part of a great room, and the dishwasher running does not interfere with conversation, watching TV or talking on the phone. The third rack is very convenient for washing plastic lids and various cooking tools. We considered buying a Bosch dishwasher that was more expensive, until we realized that the Bosch does not have a heating element for drying. We also considered a more expensive Kitchen Aid dishwasher, but we realized that the Whirlpool dishwasher is made by the same company and has virtually all of the same features at a lower price.

It also has adjustable top rack. The real problem is the Dry cycle. It does not dry the dishes that well, always have to hand dry some of dishes in top rack. Have had issues with Whirlpool on our Microwave that we purchased on the same day. They really do not care to work with customers. We purchesd entire Kitchen suite on the same day. Really don't think I would do it again. Whirlpool just does NOT care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blindiver from Surprised at how well it cleans We did a lot of research on all brands of dishwashers. This one seemed the best bang for the buck. The price point was good. Third rack. Stainless steel. Quiet. But when it was installed and we ran the first load, I was amazed at how sparkling clean the glasses were, the pots and plates too. I had no idea our old dishwasher was so bad at cleaning. I am super happy with it! Feels solid, it’s relatively quiet, I mean if you spend an extra thousand bucks I’m sure you could get one quieter but I can barely hear it so it’s great for me. In short I love it, best purchase I could have made. I HIGHLY recommend this dishwasher. When if ever I need a new one. I’m looking at another whirlpool.

I was so excited to get this dishwasher and have never been so disappointed in an appliance. I have to wash the dishes after they come out of the dishwasher. Shame on you whirlpool.

I bought this to replace our approximately 5 year old GE dishwasher that was leaking water. This one is SO much better! I immediately noticed that my silverware, glasses, etc. are coming out sparkling clean. So far I haven’t had to rewash a single item; with my old dishwasher there were always several items in each load that wouldn’t come out clean. I also love the third rack for lids, serving utensils, etc., allowing me to really maximize space. I didn’t realize how bad my GE dishwasher was until I started using this one. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
