Poor design
We bought this stove in January of 2022. I like using the convection for baking. Unfortunately one day my son was actually doing the responsible thing and loading the dishwasher located immediately to left of the stove. A plate hit the glass control panel on top of the stove and shattered the entire thing. It worked for a little while after we put plastic shipping tape over it, to prevent the glass from chipping away especially on the sides. Unfortunately it didn't last long. The entire glass top collapsed and I was not able to use the oven only stove top. Prices for parts were insane. Also there is staining from under the glass top stove that showed up after a yeaof use.

Touchscreen freezes
The stove is just 2 years old and the touchscreen keeps locking up. I have reset the circuit breaker 2x in 1 week in order to get the screen rebooted. I have been told that a repair will be close to $1000. This is crazy, I paid a lot of money for this range and don’t even use most of the features and now I am fearful there is an electrical problem.

Don’t break the glass!
Really beautiful but don’t put anything in the cabinets above and let me tell you just a tiny drop of a pan on the glass panel with shatter the whole control board. this control board glass should be gorilla glass!! It breaks so easy. The replacement for just this glass is $700

Love it, but can't clean it!
Very disappointed that there is no true self-cleaning feature on this stove. I would not have purchased it at all. The quickly steam clean with water in the bottom is a joke. The sides are all greasy and hard to clean. I cook a great deal and this is unacceptable to me. I may even change the stove because of it. I deep clean my oven four times a year and I feel as if I am reduced to cleaning it on my hands and knees. Just ridiculous. I want someone to let me know how to clean this thing. Don't but it until you get an answer to this question.

Did Not Last 3 Years!
Purchased December 2018 and it did not last 3 years without needing major service. The right side of the cooktop will not turn on unless the right side is on and in use. Whirlpoolparts.com does not have the parts necessary to repair so we have to look elsewhere since Whirlpool CS wont send them to me directly. I'm likely just going to fix it so I can can then sell it and look for another brand.
Also, the Wi-Fi is spotty, the stickers on the knobs with the settings is peeling off, the surface is nearly impossible to keep clean, sometimes the control lock is unresponsive, and as far as I can see the "smart" firmware has not received an update in 3 years. I feel like it was priced $1000.00 too high.

Melting Trim
I purchased the range in white after six months of use the trim on the oven door along with knobs and back panel turned a dark yellow. Whirlpool's attempt to resolve this issue was " I am sorry the problem you are experiencing is a cosmetic issue and not covered under any warranty". 2K later.

Useless Open cleaning Technology
Hello All – I just cleaned my WP Smart Slide-in Electric range for the first time and I must say, it is a complete failure. For the life of me, I cannot imagine why a Top-rate company like Whirlpool would unleash this to the unsuspecting public. I followed the directions EXACTLY as stated and when the cleaning cycle was complete, I opened the door and found a mess. I had to scrape off the bottom with a plastic scraper to remove the burnt-on food particles. If you had any spots besides the bottom of the open, the cleaning cycle ignored it. My open door winder was untouched and still dirty. The sides and bottom outer rim was also untouched. AQUALIFT DOES NOT WORK! AT ALL!
Also, after the cleaning cycle was complete, I had to spend 10 minutes sponging the water out of the still dirty bottom pan AND scrub down the oven door window.
Now to address Whirlpool, I spend A LOT of money on this oven and how the heck do I CLEAN the darn thing?????
On the positive side, it is a gorgeous looking oven and fits perfectly in my kitchen. But if you can’t clean it properly, what's the point of having an expensive kitchen sculpture??
I am posting a couple photos post cleaning so you can see what it looks like AFTER the cleaning cycle.
Whirlpool, I think you need to make this right for your customers.

This range turns itself off easily
I thought I had one of the best electric ranges for the money when I ordered this range. I do not like that it is touch sensitive and turns off when you believe it is baking. I understand this is a glitch in the design. If I could afford to replace this range with one that does not have this touch feature, I would do so. The date changes, the time changes, and the range turns off when you think it is baking. all you need to do is brush up against it.

Disappointed
My range is three weeks old and it is already out of service. The main touchscreen is malfunctioning not allowing the oven to come on. It has been one week since your “Whirlpool Authorized” service rep has been out to investigate. I still have not received a return date due to the availability of parts. Hoping one day I can enjoy my investment!

Terrible Clean Cycle
We bought this oven in Dec 2019, and have been away most of the time since. Just used it for a turkey (probably the fifth or sixth use of the oven). The turkey spattered grease and made a mess, so I used the aqua clean "self clean" to clean it up. Horrible - as bad as before I ran it. And the manual says to only use Affresh Kitchen cleaner if needed. THAT gets horrible reviews, and is out of stock everywhere. Must be owned by Whirlpool. Also, knobs for the range are difficult to see and use. What a mistake it was to buy this range! This photo is what it looked like AFTER cleaning! Looks like several class action suits have been (rightfully) filed.

Poor quality
Just over a year old. We get an hourglass showing on the over screen. Whirlpool sent one company. Said they couldn't order a part and just stopped contacting me. Another company through home warranty replaced one part, ordering some different part and now going a month with them. The over hasn't worked in over 3 months. I assume poor quality and obviously this model has been discontinued pretty quickly.

I've had the opportunity to use most features on the oven. It takes forever to get to temperature. I've noted items in the middle of the pan don't bake as well as the outside- so uneven cooking. The timer sound is non existent. Too quiet, do is the notification that the oven has finally preheated to chosen temperature. The stove top is great, pots and pans heat up quickly, got to make sure you keep an eye on your cooking or it'll burn. The storage tray is small.

Just as a previous reviewer stated - "Smart features do not work".
I purchased 3 weeks ago, read the manual 3 times (only states that it is sensitive -no trouble shooting) and am still experiencing trouble getting the oven's control panel to work properly. Saying that the touchscreen is glitchy is an understatement. It hesitates to respond. I wipe it with a dry napkin to clear away any skin oils, but still have to wait 30 seconds or so to try again- to no avail. I have to keep trying back until it decides to work. I have managed to make 3 meals using the oven - one of which I was unable to 'cancel' the timer for an hour. My family and I are beyond frustrated. - haven't even bothered with the wifi ... My family is not happy that I decided to purchase this stove.

Beautiful oven
I’ve had this for almost 6 months now and it’s a good oven that looks really nice. I like that it can connect to your home WiFi and had the ability to be operated remotely when you’re away from home. I have noticed it takes longer than average for things to bake and I wish the clock/time feature would sync automatically with it being connected to the internet but overall it’s a good product.

No work Aqua Clean
We recently remodeled our kitchen and replaced all appliances with Whirlpool, love all of them. Only problem is the Aqua Clean for the oven, IT DOES NOT WORK after using for Christmas and New Year's went to clean the oven and it's horrible to clean the system is useless and doesn't work. Hard to get to the back of oven inside.

Top and touch pad

Lots of options
I've had my stove for almost a month. More features than I will probably use but glad to know I can access them. The stove/oven are easy to use. Glass cleaner works best for keeping cooktop clean. I had difficulty connecting the stove to Wi-Fi and the clock was not keeping time properly. I called Customer Care and the two issues were connected. The technician took care of my issues remotely. It was a positive experience.

Beautiful range
Compliments my kitchen very well. I like the contrast of shiny knobs, handles, and the reatis stainless steel. Touch screen is sensitive but you can lock it. I always purchase a extended warranty on high tech appliances.

Smart features do not work.
We purchased this one year ago. We liked the idea of being able to use our iPhone and our Alexa device with this range. The smart phone app that Whirlpool uses simply does not work. While the range sees and supposedly connects to our WiFi the phone app does not and will not connect to the range. I have called Whirlpools support line on multiple occasions and have been told repeatedly that “it’s a back office issue” on their end and they are working on it. I called Best Buy and they sent a tech out and he had no clue as to how to connect it. We have run out of patience with this. It is beyond my comprehension how Whirlpool can continue to market this range as a smart/connected device when they know those features do not work. Do not buy this range if you are looking for a smart appliance.

This is a fraud!
I bought this oven in September and the self clean is a farce. It does not clean at all. Do not buy this oven! I'm so disappointed. I have owned other Whirlpool appliances and have been pleased but this one omg! Otherwise Im happy with it. I did not buy a self cleaning oven to clean it myself!!!
