Rated 1 out of 5 by JPRR from Poor quality Product We purchased this product a few months ago, within the first 3 months we noticed a peeling look around the control board...after googling this product we discovered HUNDREDS of other reviews about the same exact problem. Turns out the "stainless steel" in this area is only painted to look like stainless steel. False advertisement. If we had known our oven would look this horrible after what we paid, we would've found something higher quality. We also furnished our kitchen with a Whirlpool microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher... We are HIGHLY disappointed in this product and won't be purchasing any other Whirlpool products in the future!

Last night noticed that the paint around the control knobs (silver that is supposed to be stainless steel) is peeling off. Brand new expensive stove looks worse than the 20-year-old range that it replaced. Contacted Whirlpool today to learn that it is a "cosmetic issue" and that it is only covered by warranty for 30 days (how convenient). I was advised to purchase a "paint kit" from their service department and paint my brand new range. This is unaccetable. DO NOT purchase this item!!! Whirlpool has a ton of complaints about this and has done nothing to fix it. So so very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CASACI from Silver paint of the front panel I obtained this stove because at that time it was the most suitable one within the selection that was in the store by size and aesthetics.. Keep in mind that we are not talking about a five hundred dollar stove, it is a two thousand dollar stove. After only one year, I noticed that the silver paint of the front panel is slowly peeling off even though I have been only using the cleaning products recommended. The aqualift featured doesn’t work as they indicate that it works. I am very disappointed about the quality of this product and I wouldn’t recommend it and I would suggest to the construction company of my building do not used this band for future developments.

Just two months after the warranty expires, the blower motor goes out right before Christmas! It is the second Whirlpool in 5 years that I have owned that has had mechanical failures. Yesterday the left front burner switch locked up. $175 for parts, shipping, and tax. This is an $1100 range. The finish does not hold up, the bottom drawer is too shallow and cheap. I am so disappointed! No more inferior Whirlpool! Imported cheap parts! Check other sites for evidence of issues with blower motor failure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Denise M from Great Features, Very Poor Quality I had my kitchen redone about 2.5 years ago. We decided to purchase Whirlpool appliances. One of the appliances was this range. It required service 2x within a few months of owning it for the hinges that were not supporting the door properly. Though this appliance had alot of the great features, Glass Top w. 5 elements, Convection Oven, Large Capacity; I'm very displeased with it and Whirlpool's quality. The current issues are the scratching of the main control panel, chipped porcelain inside the oven, the use of the Aqualift cleaning function; this does not work. I am very disappointed, of the 4 new appliances 3 of them have been serviced and it's only been 2.5 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Navy Wife from Do not waste your money We remodeled our home and purchased this range from Lowe’s. It was basically for aesthetic‘s. We do our cooking on our outdoor kitchen. We used the oven twice and the stove top once to boil water. While cleaning it with their recommended affresh each week, this is the result, it is now junk, it has to be replaced. As a military family who has lived in multiple homes I can honestly say none of our appliances even came close to looking this awful even after years of use. Whirlpool should be ashamed of themselves for taking consumers money knowing full well they had a defective product. Customer service was absolutely no help. Never again will we buy whirlpool.
