Rated 1 out of 5 by BigAl from disappointed For almost 50 years we have used all Whirlpool appliances and we just remodeled our kitchen and put our confidence in Whirlpool. You ask about the range but we feel the same about the microwave and refridgerater. the range racks can not hold any weight.The drawer is thinner than a pop can, useless. the microwave the same , so thin you cant put any pressure on the mounting screws or yo bend it. The rack is so thin we dont even use it . No question in my mind where these were made, we threw away better appliances than we bought . Of course they where from a different time when Whirlpool was quality. Its just discussing what it is now

Rated 5 out of 5 by Batman is me from What can I say burn baby burn We bought our Range about a month ago to replace our older gold series. This was the best decision we could make. It boils water in minutes, cooks everything evenly when baking, and lets not forget the fantastic griddle option. Love it great range and price was reasonable. The fingerprint resistant is amazing as well. Love that the drawer below doesn’t use cheap hardware as well like our previous whirlpool range. This drawer actually stays in and holds objects like a cabinet! The only thing we changed was I ordered after market metal whirlpool knobs, preference really for durability and cosmetics.

I bought this stove a little over a month ago and the only problem I have with it, is when I bought it, it was bought from a mom and pop shoppe in the town I live and the front of the oven door is coming off. They told me they would order the part and still have not heard from them and when asked how to clean the grates they could not educate me on that area because they did not know. This is the first gas stove my husband and I have owned and we like it. We have had to buy child proof covers for the knobs because our 2 year old loves to turn them occasionally, but we were always right there to catch her. I would like to buy a griddle to try that out. Overall we love it!!

Cooking is a delight when you can trust that the temperature can so easily be adjusted. The light and the fan features are on at a finger's touch and I can't wait to use the griddle feature for breakfast and sandwiches on the central oval burner! Yesterday, I tried a new "Wet Burritos" recipe in the oven. I was a little concerned that I had forgotten how to "light" a gas oven. "PRESTO CHANGEO" again.....with the touch of the word "BAKE" on the key pad the oven ignited and I was ready to heat up my casserole. I couldn't believe how easy things have become.

Rated 5 out of 5 by skm1148 from I love it! I have had my new stove for almost a month. I love it! I like the fact that the entire top is a grate in 3 removable pieces. They are very sturdy and not light-weight like other stoves I examined. I have yet to use the center burner, but the other 4 light easily and the flames are easy to regulate. I also like that the front two burners are "stronger" flames than the back two or the middle. The oven cooks evenly too. As much as I love the grates and the look it gives, they also make it a little harder to clean the stove-top. However, that would not keep me from buying this stove again. I'll say it again, I love it!

I can see a difference in the quality between this range and my old range that was 20 years old. "They just don't make things like they use to." I wanted to retain the Bisque color scheme to match the other appliances so I was limited in what I could choose from. I thought I would like the grates that cover the entire cook top, but now that I have them I find they are more of a pain especially when you have to move all of the grates to clean underneath. The placement of the burners also seems to be slightly off. Overall, it is a good range and it gets the job done. It just isn't as substantial a range as my old one.
