Rated 3 out of 5 by Cindy from Product, Merchant or Installer? I recently purchased 5 whirlpool products…. Microwave, Range,Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer. I have not had time to assess the kitchen appliances because of all the installation issues. The microwave installer made a horrible mess of my cabinet. I’ve been without a way to cook for 10 days and it will 2 more days until someone comes out AGAIN to try to fix the range. The refrigerator rolls all over every time I open the door and the door flops over and hits the cabinet if I don’t hold on to it. So far the washer and dryer are good…. I was so looking forward to new appliances and it has turned into an ongoing nightmare.

Only thing we think would improve this is a brighter light on the bottom that shines on the no farther away stove surface. Would have given 5 stars if it was brighter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nickname? from Very Basic Functions I have only owned this microwave less than a month, so can't speak to performance long term. It works as expected and heats things well. It is very basic without sophisticated settings and has limited preset buttons for what I want to use it for. When using the defrost, there is not a setting for what I am defrosting, and it took me a while to figure out that the entry is by weight only.

The only complaint is that from time to time when I turn it on, I get an electrical kind of a buzz. I just open the door and start it up again and the noise is gone. It happens every so often.
