Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave44 from Very quiet, but.... I ordered this range hood as a replacement for a ten-year-old Whirlpool range hood. It took over a month to be delivered. After installation I noticed that the left side of the hood had a 5-millimeter-deep sharp edge exposed where the side panel meets the top. The right side was nice and smooth. After waiting a month my wife wouldn't let me send it back for replacement. Otherwise, it functions well as intended. And it is very quiet on low speed. My recommendation is purchase locally and inspect at store.

My problem is I can't find a replacement filter anywhere. Not in stores or on the Whirlpool site. What good is a range hood with no filter? Worthless

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ambreen from Still is powerful after 4 years. I bought this hood from Best Buy because the sales rep said it was the best. I didn't know if it was or not at then but now I can say its still strong. I just happen to forget what model number I need for the replacement filters and came to this website to look it up. Thought I'd leave good feedback for those not sure what to buy. You can do a comparison on the Homedepot site to see which one is powerful. I noticed this was. I didn't have that info when I was buying from Best Buy. As for the sound in the third highest setting, it is loud but that is what you are going to get for one of the powerful ones. On the lowest setting is soft enough to watch TV in the kitchen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Canyon from Extremly HOT halogen bulbs This was an upgrade that was installed in our home when it was built 2 years ago. I accidently brushed my left index finger against the glas lamp enclosure, 2nd degree burns was the result...not vey happy. With the advent of terrific LED lighting these days I intend to replace those halogen lamps with LED replacements.
