These filters are garbage. I will never buy another one of these filters ever again I’d rather replace the refrigerator before I do that. Yessss that’s how bad my experience was. After 2 months every filter would just not give water. It waned down to a little stream and had to wait forever for water.
I had some great reps replace the filter on two separate occasions but others were rude insinuating the filters housing unit needed to be checked or even that the 6 month filter exchange time was suggestive and that it depended on household size even though it’s only two people. I spent so much money on these filters on a subscription of doubles every 3-4 months at the price of $75, at that rate I was using 4-6 filters a year. I should have been using 3 filters MAX!
I now use another brand that is working amazing and the water tastes better. I guess the housing unit WASN’T THE PROBLEM!

Whirlpool told me the wrong part now Im out $100!!
This is the filter Whirlpool told me was right for my fridge when I entered my model number. It is the wrong filter!! Now they say I can not return or exchange for their mistake! So either they do not have competent employees or Whirlpool just doesn't care about their customers! I will never recommend them again!

WHIRLPOOL SUGGESTED THE WRONG FILTER FOR MY FRIDGE
This was the suggested filter for my refrigerator, that this site suggested for my appliance, and it is the incorrect filter. Now since I attempted to install it, and it clearly is not the correct one, they will not return the 2Pack that I purchased. SO now I have 2 high priced water filters that I CAN NOT USE!!!!!
I WILL NOT EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL AGAIN!

I bought these more than 6 months ago and when we went to use this twin pack each filter leaked. First time ever so that wasn't what we expected. Usuially very dependable filters. Will continue to purchase.
