Bleaching on clothes!
I used the tablet as recommended by the Maytag manufacturer on the "clean with Affresh" setting. I did not use the Affesh wipes at the end of cycle, but did use a wet paper towel over all surfaces. My first load was white laundry...did not see any problems. The next load was darks...several shirts have bleached out spots and are ruined. I did not notice the spots immediately because they went on my ironing pile. Since the cleaning, we have done several loads. I am running a "clean" cycle now, and can still smell a "bleach" odor!

Phenomenal Cleaner
I bought this for my front loader where most of the issue is soap and hard water buildup; however while helping my older parents I noticed a heavy buildup of mildew on the gasket of their machine and a strong musty smell. I didn’t have much hope for machine honestly as I had tried scrubbing it before— but one cycle with afresh and the smell is gone, I wiped nasty gunk from the tub and about 75% of the mildew from the gasket- I will be running another cleaning cycle to see if I can completely eradicate the problem!

Finally!
Bought this recently after using the Tide version and I wasn’t happy with the Tide one. I noticed my clothes/towels had a musty smell and didn’t understand why when I was using the Tide cleaners regularly. Finally exasperated I hunted down some affresh. I figured I would use the 3 tablets method with 3 washes. But luckily after two tablets and two cycles my washer was pretty clean so I decided to do a wash to test it out. So far so good! Clothes smell like regular clothes. Haven’t taken them out of the dryer to do a smell test but it seems to have all worked. Won’t be going back to the Tide one.

Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our washer refurbished and despite my best attempts at cleaning the machine it often has a smell (like wet dog). I got these to see if they would help with that issue. I had them shipped which was a mistake because they were broken. I dumped the pieces into the washer and ran a cycle. The scent is finally gone and the machine looks clear and clean. I will be buying more (in store) for the future, to clean the machine as needed.
This worked so well that I have been researching other affresh products for cleaning my dishwasher.

Been using for years, doesn't work well
We've been using this product for 3 years, religiously when we purchased our new washing machine. Took the machine apart and omg the inside was Filthy!! Gave the whole washer a deep scrub and looking for a new cleaning product since this clearly isnt working well! .. I should have thought to take pics but I didnt :( there was build up and residue all inside the drum

love this product
first time to use this cleaner. very easy to use; fool proof. worked great; my machine is totally clean-spotless, and gunk free. washer is 6 months old (new), and this worked great. smelled fresh, but not perfumed after cleaning. wiped interior clean after using, again very easy to use and will definitly use again. no residue left after cleaning, was spotless. :)

Foamed all over the place.
We have used Affresh a number of times in our front load Duet. Tonight, it foamed up and spilled out all over the floor. These are pictures AFTER we cleaned out a lot of the foam. The foam was pouring out of the soap dispenser!!! All over the floor, with the door closed and locked.

Cleaning the cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who ever thinks to clean the washer? Seems a bit redundant, right? Well, it needs it. Even though my washer is stainless steel inside, there is soap scum build up and funky smells that linger. I ran a small empty load, tossed the tablet in and let it do its thing. Afterwards, the basket was shiny and smelled so much better. My laundry comes out cleaner and smelling better, too. There used to be a kind of "musty" smell, even though i immediately switched it to the dryer. Now, it smells fresh and clean. Definitely wont wait years to do THAT again m
