Range Anti-Tip Bracket

The Range Anti-Tip Bracket prevents the appliance from tipping forward when heavy cookware is on the open oven door or the extended oven racks. Note that this bracket must be installed on all freestanding ranges to prevent the range from falling forward and causing injuries; hardware is sold separately. The part is designed to be used with most major range brands, including Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, Maytag®, JennAir® and KitchenAid; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
