I don't need it connected to Wifi, I just want clean laundry. I finally decided on this model of Whirlpool. So far, it works as expected. I do love it. Many people have complained about twisted up laundry, but I use the wrinkle control feature and have not had that problem. It's quiet, it's efficient. I've been able to wash big comforters and bulky items which I'd not been able to do. Love that! So, I'm very happy with my purchase. We'll see if it lasts 25 years without ever needing a repair like my old one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Victoria from Beautiful, sylish addition to my laundry room I ordered this dryer and a matching washer to November 2020, knowing they were on back order until Jan. 1. I finally got the dryer delivered; today, in mid-February 2021, I'm still waiting for the washer. The dryer is sleek and stylish. I love the different settings and the ease in using each of them. I appreciate the audible warnings to remove or rearrange the laundry load. I wish the top were completely flat and horizontal, rather than angled down, to allow a temporary resting spot for detergent. The top is pristine. To avoid scratches, I added a quilted pad on top. It has a spacious capacity for the biggest of comforters and is quiet when operating.

We recently purchased one to replace a previous awesome Whirlpool that lasted ten years for our day spa. However, let's talk a moment about the lint catcher. This model's lint catcher was clearly designed by someone who needs to be criminally charged. If you don't pull it at just the right angle, it literally scrapes the captured lint right off and back down below the lint trap. And our flannel sheets generate a healthy amount of lint, it's nearly impossible to get to the lint being scraped under the catcher, so it's just created a lot of additional work and overshadows any of the dryer's other good qualities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gwoodle from Think’s For You My 20yr old Whirlpool Dryer broke down after many years of perfect drying, had repair one time in that 20 yrs. I personally would not go with any other brand, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Picked this new Whirlpool 7.4 cu ft electric dryer with intuitive controls. At first I thought I’m not sure about this having to set the controls to what I want, but what I didn’t know, it remembered my settings and programmed itself to my settings. Love this and it has a very good sensing to how dry, but not too dry you want your clothes. One more thing, my clothes come out with absolutely no wrinkles. You cannot go wrong with this dryer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by april from 3-4 hours to dry a load and it leaks I purchased this dryer after owning our last whirlpool dryer for 15 years. First load I dried took 3hrs. Figured I just needed to get used to the new settings. Tried to dry three more loads on different settings and it still took 3-4 hours to dry each load. The last load I dried left a puddle of water underneath the dryer. It was then I decided to look at ALL the reviews on this dryer and noticed the poor reviews were regarding the same issues that I was experiencing. I was only able to return this dryer to Lowe's since I used their credit card. If I hadn't of used their credit card the reviews stated that waiting on it to be serviced could take weeks and they give you the run around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Deborah from Dryer stopped working after 4 months We have been without a dryer for 4 weeks now and looking at another 2 to 3 weeks. Repair man has been out twice and there are still issues. The heater shorted out because the ceramic hold was improperly placed when dryer was built. The drum quit turning and produced a fire smell, dryer became very hot. . The technician has replaced and Repaired the ceramic part, replaced the control panel and will now have to order another part because the motor is siezed to the shaft. He is going to have to break the motor out and replace the motor, blower and anything else inside the dryer that is attached. I am beyond frustrated at this point but will have to wait on the repairs as whirlpool will not replace the dryer. I will not purchase another whirlpool product.
