Usually after the first 2 days my wife starts to complain about the drying or washing capability of the washer or dryer. This time She has said nothing but great things about both whirlpool appliances. It usually put me in a bind because after a purchase the return procedure of other vendors leaves you without a machine for a day or two. And with the frequency of our washing schedule that will not work for us. This dryer is an awesome machine with an shadow glass awesome cosmetic design. Thank you so much for finally making her / me happy. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mchelle from Great new features! There is no more refilling the water for steam features, this baby hooks straight into the water line. Love that! It texts me when it’s done so I don’t forget about it. ( I can’t hear the dryer from other parts of the house). The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is so sensitive to the lint trap. Halfway through most loads I get a warning that there is an airflow problem and the trap needs cleaning. when I go to check it, there is not a lot of lint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by momofbanjo from Works well! Had this dryer a few weeks now and overall I like it. It dries quickly and quietly and offers a lot of features. Would recommend it to anyone. Only two negatives: 1-seems over sensitive with the lint filter. I get warnings often that the lint needs cleaned, even after I just cleaned it. 2-the drum area is so big (holds a lot) but it is hard to reach in the back and get all the clothes with the door opening down and not to the side. These negatives would not keep me from recommending this dryer or purchasing again however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Donald from Not so good support Six months old and it quit drying. Called for warranty service. The came a week later. Checked everything over. Tested the main power cord connection, wiggled it and said, the cord is the problem. Then said we don’t supply power cords that’s the customers responsibility and left. First of all, I bought this through Costco, they installed it. They’re the ones that supplied the power cord. To just come out and say it’s not my job, go buy a new cord and leave. Totally unacceptable. I had just had back surgery, was already without a dryer for a week. Then your master electrician can’t offer to replace a power cord. 😡

I have had over 6 visits from a repair company and dryer still doesn’t work. It’s has been over two months since the last time my dryer actually work. I contacted Whirlpool to get an replacement dryer and or reimbursement. I was told I could not receive an replacement dryer; the operator didn’t even discuss the reimbursement. I’m highly disappointed with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Patrick S from Safety issue do not buy Bought this in 2020 and the heating element has grounded out twice. The vent is only 14ft and no bends. House is only 3 years old and had the vent checked 2 times and it is still very clean and no clogs. Both company's saying that there must be a defect in the dryer to keep grounding out the element. Luckily I bought the extended warranty. Called Whirlpool to see what their thoughts are and if there are any issues reported and was told since its over 1 year old they can't do anything. I am more worried about this thing burning my hose down at this point but that does not seem to be their issue. I have always liked Whirlpool but when it comes to a safety concern I am very disappointed how they handle this. They should take safety issues seriously.
