Rated 1 out of 5 by kendibaer from Great for the first 3 months 3 months in and we are already having problems. Water stopped working and then the freezer stopped freezing. Took today off for a tech to come out and look at it only to find out it's working fine again. Tech leaves and it's not working again. Have lost everything in my freezer. Called Whirlpool to see if they would reimburse me for everything I've lost in the freezer and they are sorry but they don't reimburse. When you have a brand new fridge and it's only 3 months old, it shouldn't be having issues. Plenty of other brand name's will reimburse you for what you have lost. Now we have to wait another 5 days for someone else to come out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by welchy from Doors won't line up I originally ordered this in the stainless steel to match my other appliances but after waiting a month and a half was told they couldn't get it till December so I chose to go with the Black stainless since they had it in stock. I have had two of these units in the black stainless delivered and installed from Lowes in Summersville WV and the first one the top of the refrigerator door stuck out more than 1/4 inch past the freezer door it went back and lowes brought another on and its doors will not level out and the freezer door when closing has a dead drop when closing it. Will be returning it also. I expected more out of Whirlpool, very disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Madinpresqueisle from Faulty icemaker design I bought a side by side almost 4 years ago and at about 3 1/2 years the ice maker stopped working. After a few hundred dollars and multiple attempts to fix, it was determined that the problem was due to a broken wire. The unit wasn't getting any power. The repair man figured it was probably at the hinge where the wires go into the door. Only way to fix is to buy a new door to the tune of over $1000. Whirlpool's solution was to give me a discount on a similar fridge. 2 previous refrigerators have lasted 15-20 years. Don't buy Whirlpool products, they don't stand behind them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Brian from Good features, but poor workmanship I purchased this refrigerator on Feb. 28, 2023 and it was delivered on Mar. 13,2023. The installers did a good job of setting it up. When my wife and I began unpacking the refrigerator, she found that one of the freezer drawers was cracked on the front surface and that the right side of the plastic base plate was warped or bent. I was not able to align the doors correctly; the right door is slightly higher that the left. I think the base plate became bent because someone tried to quickly align the doors after it was built., but I'm just speculating. I just feel the like the refrigerator wasn't built with good workmanship, but it does run well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ju19lu from Great features This refrigerator replaced my LG whose compressor quit working. Nobody repairs LG anymore(wish I had know that 7 yrs ago when I purchased it). So I asked some repair service people what they’d recommend and they said Whirlpool or Maytag. I’ve only had this for about a month. The only thing that I have noticed (and knew about up front) was the ice maker being a little loud. Very tolerable for me. It also could use a butter keeper but not a huge deal either. The other features are all great. I love that if you want a large amount of ice it’s easy to access the ice container in the freezer and get what you need without running the dispenser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dthomas115 from Faulty refrigerator and horrible customer service My wife and I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago. We spent two months researching and picked this one. Up until now we have loved it but no the problems start. The freezer is not cold all food is lost and refrigerator side as well. The tech says not the compressor but something in the logic board maybe. So $200 of food down the drain whirlpool says they don’t pay for food lost or any damage the refrigerator may cause per warranty. Tech is coming back out next week and we shall see, but me and my wife will be looking into another fridge if doesn’t get fixed.
