Rated 1 out of 5 by ladyhawk21 from Counter Depth Freezer Issues i purchased this in Dec - was delivered in Jan- a few days later i noticed condensation on the outside of the freezer - Lowes ordered a new one and 3 weeks later it was delivered - this one also had condensation and a bad damper fan that sounded like a freight train when you opened the door- so i paid for a new frig and got the stainless steel as it was in stock at the store and received a refund for the white one- and guess what- after 2 days it also had condensation on the freezer side - i went to the store and they will be sending me a new door- if this one does the same thing i am ordering a totally different brand

In March 2022, ice maker stopped working and since I had an extended warranty, service person came out and immediately went to the bottom of the freezer door where the wire harness with all the wires to the door had cracked. Certain wires has broken. He said this is a known problem and I would either be receiving a new door or a new fridge. 2 days later store informed me that they would not fix it and would be returning my money. Interesting how every service company I called and every store I have gone to for a new fridge knows of this problem but when I call Whirlpool, they deny knowing about it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice guy James from Respectively, not recommended I'm sorry, as a massive fan of Whirlpool products, this poorly designed Refrigeration unit needs R&D evaluation, so I'm leaving a review. It's the largest unit that will fit my kitchen and has the smallest space inside. In the freezer, the shield for a light bulb goes across the back and sticks out 5 inches from the back, while if they used an integrated LED, it would provide more light without taking up space. One shelf in the chill has part coming off, and it is not a year old, so maybe a different selection in glue would solve the problem. I'm still a massive Whirlpool fan, but I wouldn't recommend this model. Sorry, Whirlpool; I hope this helps.

We realize it is not the most expensive fridge on the market but there are very few shelves in freezer and in fridge, and to purchase more it is beyond expensive. We were told to check everything before delivery men left because what ever we found after the fact was our problem. Well, we did check inside and saw nothing wrong..EXCEPT after they left and we started to put things away on shelves in door we noticed all of the shelves on the door had a hair line crack....ON THE SAME SIDE OF EACH SHELF.. Very disappointed seeing that we are senior citizens and now we have a new fridge with broken inside door shelves. Too much money for us to replace.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pbott from Many small problems Finally received this unit after a long wait. At first it was good. It promised so much but did not deliver. When it produces ice through the dispenser it throws it everywhere we have tried everything but even with a large receptacle lie is on the floor. It dosnt seem to have a good temperature control, it is difficult to regulate the temperature. It either freezes items in the fridge section or it’s not cold enough even by adjusting just one degree. The main issue is that the cold water isn’t cold we had a 12 year old unit that would produce very cold water . Not this one very disappointed. Will not buy wirlpool again stay away from this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan from Overall an awesome fridge We bought this refrigerator several weeks ago to fit in a very specific cabinet, and frankly it was our only option. I was a little worried by reviews suggesting that the fridge was quite noisy - and certainly it was quite noisy for the first day, as temperatures were getting stabilized. Now it varies between complete silence and a low hum. Inside, the refrigerator is much roomier and brighter than our previous model - we feel as though we have twice as much space, on both sides! We've never had an icemaker that worked, so this is a treat. Overall we're incredibly happy with this refrigerator (and sorry we waited so long to replace the old one).
