Rated 1 out of 5 by preston123 from Noisy, I can hear from my bed room I bought this in Dec 2018, It was silent for the first month, after that when ever compressor runs it makes lot of rattling sound for long time. I can make out some thing is wrong with the compressor and when ever I open the door the light flickers. Spoke to the warranty and according to them the sound is normal, but I feel it is very noisy and they are not understanding it is faulty compressor that is making lot of noise when it runs. I am worried I am stuck with this sound. I used GE refrigerator before and It was very quiet. Also the drawers when I open make scratchy sound. I wish should have done some research before buying this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IwantAworkingIcemaker from Broken icemaker replaced, required new door, Icemaker stopped working. took over a year with multiple icemakers replaced that did not solve the issue. Then whirlpool replaced the whole door. It makes ice, but now it melts and refreezes. Called serive party, but now the case has been closed and I have been told to contact whirlpool to request a "concession of service." However, I can never get through. VERY FRUSTRATING TO WORK WITH. If the want to stand by their product, they should have replaced the entire refrigerator in the first place instead of wasting everyone's time and their money. Otherwise, I do enjoy the working portion of the refrigerator and freezer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jacob18 from Avoid! This fridge was a replacement provided by Whirlpool for a fridge I purchased in 2016 that couldn't be repaired. My original fridge was part of their Gold series and this fridge is definitely not. The shelves and drawers are low quality and the ice machine takes up a lot of room. The worst part though is the noise. The fridge never shuts off and the compressor rattles so loud we have to turn the volume up on the TV. We’ve had the fridge about a month and have already had components on the fridge replaced to try and fix the noise and constant running. That round of repairs didn’t work and we are gearing up for another round.

Really like it at first!, We bought this fridge on 9/07/2019 everything seemed to be working fine about 2/12 weeks later the fridge started my a rattling, we’re having them pick this one up on Friday 10//3 also noticed on Monday the fridge is always running and the outside panel shows that the fridge temperature should be 38 inside temperature is 28 degrees! I am glad we decided to have this one pick up, we’re having it replaced with a GE, I am hopeful I guess! This will be our 3rd refrigerator in less than a month, our first one was a LG after 12 hours being plugged in a code was flashing on the outside display, after calling the warranty place they said it has a bad motor! It a shame if you ask me, refrigerator cost a lot of money$$$$

My huge complaint is that they do not tell you or give you any instructions as to set up or reasons why certain things are built the way they are. They do not tell you what the left door is suppose to hold in the very top.. No suggestions as for shelf allignment..?? No idea where the butter should be placed or the milk..?? i figured the door but when i googled where milk belongs its NOT on the door. Also, google does not want eggs on the top shelf...why wasn't there any instructions as to the Ice maker , it splatters all over and with a wood floor i had to put a rug down to catch the water?..

Rated 4 out of 5 by RyeGuy from It is great, except.... I've had this for almost 3 months and really like it. The only problem is with the ice dispenser. I keep it in the "cube" setting but whenever I try to dispense ice, it often randomly starts crushing the ice. SUPER annoying. I like crushed ice as much as the next person, but when it starts crushing, it makes a mess. I have to wipe up melted water from the tray everyday. And occasionally the ice dispenser valve gets stuck in the open position. The rest of it works great. The water dispenser is great. The filter works great. The fridge and freezer do what they are supposed to do. Hopefully the repair person can fix it when they come!
