Rated 2 out of 5 by R and R from Disappointing We replaced a 15 year old Whirlpool with a basically identical model (that was trouble free) and are very disappointed in the quality. In particular the glides for the storage bins in the refrigerator are poorly made and the drawers don't slide well. Same with the pull out rack in the freezer, it no longer glides on rollers but instead rests on a rail. This makes it much more difficult to slide out and especially slide in, to the point that it holds the freezer door open. This product has been cheapened a lot over the years, time will tell regarding durability but our initial impression is that quality has really gone down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BlackHillsBill from Exterior Looks Great, Interior Not So Good The Whirlpool is of the same design and exterior size of the 12 year Samsung that finally wore out, but it holds far less food. The door shelves are shallower and accommodate fewer bottles and jars. Much space in the upper refrigerator is consumed by the water filter holder, and more space is used in the lower freezer drawer by the ice maker. The plastic pullout drawers also seem flimsier than those in the Samsung. The motor noise, while not terribly loud, is nevertheless rather obvious and seems to run more frequently than it should. My Whirlpool microwave is outstanding, but the refrigerator definitely is not. I should have been a better comparison shopper before buying.

Bottle without it taking up

Rated 4 out of 5 by rdeak60 from good value, shelves and drawers seem brittle thoug our fridge bit the dust, had to find one quick.did a little research and then leg work. we settled for this one as it was close in size to what we had. interior wise it seems smaller not sure why. we opted for in freezer ice making as we had such bad luck with in door dispensers not producing enough when it was hot. we have great ice no problem. it has the finger print proof black stainless goes fine with our kitchen. hope it lasts. wanted a large capacity with minimal things that could go wrong. we shall see,

I do not believe I'm it's first owner, or at least perhaps it was damaged. The doors are black stainless, but the body is shiny black. The right door doesn't have a "slow"...no matter how carefully I open it, it rapidly swings to the right. I'm afraid it will break. Also, i see on the inside where there is a minute crack that some one has apparently tried to seal with white goop.

However, there are two things I wish this fridge had—an auto-shut for the freezer (it’s REALLY easy to think you pushed it closed enough, and you didn’t), AND the button for the filtered water should be BELOW the spout, not over it, so you can fill your cup or bottle with one hand.
