The freezer lights are completely off and the inside top lights are now just flickering. Please read the reviews on here and the retailer that you purchase from before committing to this brand. Electrical problems after a year is a really bad sign. Everything else the fridge does is great. Customer service will do nothing once its past the 1 year mark (regardless of how many days) I will definitely be looking at Samsung's or LG soon. So disappointed in the quality control that Whirlpool used to have. Never again will I be fooled by this brand.

We love the French doors and ample space provided and various options for the shelving to accommodate the different sized of food and containers purchased. The pull out freezer on the bottom is really nice with sliding baskets. The pocket on the freezer door inside is a nice addition for the frozen pizzas. The bright lights inside the refrigerator is very bright and increases the visability even on the back shelves! The ice maker in the door helps with the spacing in the refrigerator but the ice Ben is not very large. It does provide good ice cubes and options for crunched ice.

Unfortunately, right before it was a year old it kept shutting off and turning back on. Over and over which is annoying first because it chimes, but the fact it will do it for hours at a time on and off, on and off. Even in the middle of the night waking everyone up. I've had a Sears technician out here 3 different times and they don't know what is wrong. Have replaced the main switch board twice already. All I am told is basically I have to live with it and they don't believe me that it is even happening. And now the freezer in the door is freezing over. I wish Whirlpool would step up and do something about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by shdwcat from Works as intended We bought this fridge about 6 months ago. So far we are overall happy with it. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the ice maker in the door. I constantly leaks and water builds up around the base of the "removable" ice tray... if I want to remove it i have to break up the ice and its a mess to clean up. It also leaks water out the dispense when an ice cube gets stuck and then I have to clean up water off the floor. I had a repair person come and look at it and was told that was normal. Otherwise I like the drawer set up and the shelf that slide in for extra tall things like juice and bottles. It also makes a strange dial tone sound, when we have people over everyone looks down at there phone when they hear it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scott from Failed after 16 months, not covered by warranty I bought this fridge and had it installed in my house in February 2023. Sixteen months later, the evaporator fan motor died, preventing my fridge from cooling. The repair technician took two weeks to fix the problem. The new part and labor cost me over $370. Because my fridge was just outside the one-year warranty, Whirlpool refused to reimburse any of my repair costs, even though my wife and I separately called Whirlpool to complain. I'll never buy another Whirlpool appliance again. I'm tempted to stop buying $50 water filters for my fridge because I no longer want to give this company any of my hard-earned money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MichelleF from Good basic refrigerator I wanted a spacious basic refrigerator/freezer which this is. The doors are very light weight. The in door storage bins are spacious. The freezer space seems spacious as well but could stand more light. I greatly dislike the location of the water filter on the top. It constantly gets hit and opened if you try to put anything tall on the top shelf. I also HATE the water dispenser on the outside of the door. The water shoots everywhere and it’s hard to even line up a cup in the proper space. I would return this refrigerator for this reason alone. It’s also a bit noisier than I would like as it makes noise every time you open/close the door.
