The glass top is extremely difficult to keep clean and the hinges on the door have broken. I had my previous oven for 14 years and I never had a problem with the hinges on the door. I requested service from Whirlpool and the service provider that was sent was extremely rude. He spent more time insinuating that we hadn’t properly used the oven. How do you improperly open and close an oven door? The experience with the service provider was horrible, although my appliance is still under Whirlpool’s warranty. Being in the middle of a pandemic with not being able to use my oven is horrible.

The one thing I would change would be the dials for two front burners on the top of the range. I would love to have more heat selection indicators on those two dials. It's hard to know exactly what setting to, for example: cook my eggs or pancakes at. I have to guess somewhere between lo and medium every time. There are no clear indicators for setting the exact temp. of heat on the two dials for the two front burners. That's a real shame. Wish I had spotted that feature shortcoming before I purchased the oven. Since I do a lot of range top cooking. Other than that, it's a great oven!

Rated 2 out of 5 by christophejb from Not again. Bought this range about a year and a half ago. Worked great until recently. The oven recently started overheating causing error code "F6E1". Luckily we purchased the extended warranty. Contacted the company, they sent someone out to look at it and determined that they needed to order a replacement part. Heard back yesterday and the repairs will be covered BUT the part is no where to be found, it's now backordered, so no clue as to when it will be delivered/installed. This is painful for me to say, knowing that Whirlpool supplies many jobs in my home state of Ohio, but I doubt that I will purchase a Whirlpool in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed from OOPS! My mistake in being loyal to Whirlpool! I’ve had this new range about 6 weeks. I’ve cooked 1 meal... when I finished, I was washing the cooktop and discovered the front edge had numerous scratch marks PLUS there was dented mark about 1/2 inch long and deep, also on the front edge. Wow! Was I shocked! Talked to the salesman where I purchased this new Whirlpool kitchen, learned this situation would be considered “cosmetic” and Whirlpool’s position is...sorry about your bad luck. You bought it! It’s yours! I’ve worked for Maytag, now owned by Whirlpool, and bought the whole new kitchen of appliances thinking I should me loyal to the company sending me retirement checks??? What does a person do???

Rated 1 out of 5 by Deucer from Disappointed We purchased this range on 5/14/2020. on 7/13/2020 it started acting up. the convection oven would try to turn itself on. then if you where using the oven, it would stop working and an error light would come on. we contacted whirlpool, after waiting 35 minutes finally talked to someone. they contacted a repair service in our area to call. they did call, it was a service we have used before. Now we are waiting for a new control panel. today is August 24, 2020. Still now no panel. Needless to say I am not the happiest person. After spending all this money and I am not able to use my oven. I hope after we get the new panel that it works fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gordygirl from Very disappointed in this AMERICAN MADE PRODUCT I cannot believe that I spent so much money for this range and it doesn't come with a broiler pan!!! This is outrageous way to increase cost of oven/'range to customer. Also the ceramic cook top is far inferior to the GE oven I had for 25 years. The Whirlpool stained after the first major use of cooking a ton of chicken cutlets for Christmas dinner. The features are ridiculous .. as if made for someone who can't read.. i.e., an arrow means start and an "x" meaning stop. My GE had a light feature on the top of the stove and this one just has a light in the stove. Thought I was doing good for the country by buying American made product but will not in the future.
