Rated 4 out of 5 by MsMaui from High Maintenance I purchased this stove a month ago and while I like many of the features it offers I am finding that it requires constant cleaning after cooking. Every drop of splatter shows up on the black top & I am having to clean the stovetop thoroughly after cooking. I also cut my hand pretty badly while removing the burners for cleaning. The burners are very heavy too. Also you cannot use paper towels on burners to wipe up a spill as it will leave paper fuzz on the burners. I would however recommend this appliance to a friend as long as they understood the issues noted above. The stove works great & the burners work very well providing an even flame & there are different size burners for different size pots which is a nice feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by soxer from Specifications incorrect The arrangement of the burners on the range we received were different from Whirlpool's. Also did not receive the large burner, orifice or burner base. We called Whirlpool to get the correct orifice, which they are shipping to us, but had to buy the correct burner base and cap (and we had to order all four caps because they come as a set.) We're out one hundred dollars! Hopefully will get the orifice soon but the burner caps are backordered and not expected to ship for a another month. Will never buy another whirlpool product. Great job Whirlpool!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Debie from Burners Mixed feelings on this product. I like the ease of cleaning, the full grate to be able to set pans anywhere on top. Not happy about the flames and how fast it cooks. I have to stay at the stove and watch everything cooking or it burns even on low. It would have been better to put the smaller burners to the front of the stove. Like that I can boil water faster but I don't need that feature that often. If there was a way to tone down the burners that would be great. Cooks are usually multitasking when cooking and don't have time to just stand and the stove to make sure things are not burning or sticking to the bottom of the pans. I would recommend the stove but with caution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bender707 from Works well, a little too well Came with our new home and it’s a good range, real estate is a little funky though, I find it difficult to have two pans running on the same side. The knobs seem to be backwards, to me, the outer most knobs are for the back burners and the inners are for the front. To hit on it working a little too well. If you have the fronts on low it’s still cranking out a lot of heat and you could over do it if you’re not watching your food. That being said, being able to cook a pot of beans from start to finish on the back burners in 1.5 hrs is really nice. The other thing I would change is the blue clock, it’s almost impossible to read if you’re not within 8ft of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rumor04 from Cooking has never been more enjoyable. We decided to clean our stove and ended up damaging it, so we decided to replace it. We were disappointed to find out that most ‘home improvement’ stores, don’t tend to carry appliances in stock. Since we needed one ASAP, we decided to get the one they did have in stock. I am in LOVE with my new stove. The amount of time it takes to cook food is amazing! (Granted our stove wasn’t THAT old) The open flame and the amount of stove top we have is great. It makes it easier to cook for a family of 6. Boiling water is so much quicker as well! And who doesn’t love fingerprint resistance stainless steel?! That alone was one of the deciding factors for buying what was in stock. With twin toddlers, one less thing to have to clean, is great in my book.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bob27 from Very disappointed After waiting months for this appliance to arrive, we find it almost unusable. The burner caps are ill-fitting (like, they don't fit!) and shoot flames 12" in the air. I have singed the hair on my hands and head while operating the unit. We have had the Whirlpool rep out twice, and have been told that this is 'normal operation,' and that the problem must be in our gas pressure (the furnace, water heater, and clothes drier all work perfectly).
