Rated 3 out of 5 by Grayson44 from Ok, but not likely to recommend We've only had this a week, so I may raise the rating after getting used to it, but am not overwhelmingly impressed. Pros: QUIET cooking (the reason we chose this model) - 4 fan levels - good lighting feature Cons: - The "buttons" take some getting used to. They only respond if you push firmly in the exact middle of the number or cooking option. - There are a lot of specialized cooking options, but it takes so long to get to an exact option that we have found it easier to simply set a cooking time based on past experience and guesswork. - No choice between 4-5 very loud beeps when food is done or no sound at all - Takes considerably longer to heat a cup of water than our old GE model even though they are the same power level - Have never had a "fingerprint resistant" model before so maybe I am expecting too much, but haven't found anything about this one that resists fingerprints even though it advertised as such. This sits in the indirect sunlight much of the day and it shows fingerprints every bit as much as the plain old black model it replaced.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Eric from DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!! Total garbage As the title states, DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!! Shortly after the warranty expires (1 year), I have had nothing but problems with it. This has had to be fixed 3 times and tonight, it just stopped working again. I am so furious, I am thinking about ripping out all my whirlpool kitchen appliances and replacing them with another brand, such as Samsung. Every whirlpool appliance I have purchased seems to have problems. Think about spending your hard earned cash on another brand!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Countrymom from Worth the wait I have had this microwave for a couple of months now and I feel like it was worth the 6 weeks or so I had to wait for it. It works extremely well, or perhaps I feel that way because my old one was struggling for awhile before it stopped heating all together. I am disappointed however that for $600 the black stainless is plastic. It does look nice but the plastic is a let down. With the buttons being on the front I am always having to clean it or ignore the smudges everywhere. But at this point I would buy it again if I could do it again because it is a nice looking appliance.

The inside panel started coming loose and what should have been a simple replacement of the internal cover, was impossible. Whirlpool customer service said I'd have to pay $149 JUST for someone to look at it––not even fix it. They make products that don't last with repair pricing that doesn't make sense. Now I have to buy a new one (safe to say it WONT be Whirlpool). Horrible strategy to make products that are not built to last, huge waste to the environment and disrespect to consumers.

Contacted the appliance store where purchased and they would do nothing to help. I had always purchased Whirlpool appliances. Maybe I am a gluten for punishment as I purchased a new one of the same model.
