Range Wall Vent Cap, 6"

This universal Range Wall Vent Cap is a cap measuring 6", and is primarily used for downdraft ranges and cooktops; check to see if your model number is compatible. The vent cap size depends on the size and shape of the duct in your home, and allows air from your range to exit without allowing outside air back in. This wall vent cap comes in grey, but can be painted to match your home. Be sure to sand the cap with 120-grit sandpaper before applying your choice of paint color. Includes 3 screws to attach the vent cover to the wall mount, and a spring you'll need to install in the damper door to keep the damper door closed when it's not in use. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice installation experience. Remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
