Several choices require using 2 or more steps. The actual cooking works well (quickly and thoroughly). I like the choice of a "1-minute, 2-minute, 3-minute" quick start. I needed a microwave quickly, and if I had had more time to compare models, I would have chosen one with more convenient settings. I like "simple."

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carlover from Missing user guide / instructions on I think this unit looks great and works well. I wish it came with a user manual of some sort. A link to an online manual would have been okay, but a booklet you can hold in your hand while figuring out the various functions would have been ideal. Only an installation guide came with — essential, yes but not enough. I suspect there might be some functionality that I’m not aware of, maybe I’ll fool around with it and see what I can find.

When it stopped working after 7 yrs, I decided to get another one to match all my other appliances. It fits perfectly above my stove and works great. The panel and controls are a little different but I adjusted.
