Combination Washer/Gas Dryer is rated 4.0714 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The perfect fit! Living in a condo, the space saving capability of this product means a lot to me. I had a front load washer before and I like this top loader better. It's easier to see into the washer. Also, I like that the lint filter is contained and located at the back of the inside of the dryer. It prevents lint from getting all over the place when you pull the clothes out. The washer is a bit noisier (not by much and it doesn't bother me) than the fridgedaire we replaced, but the dryer is a bit quieter. Thankfully, the end cycle alarm ("beep") is much shorter than our previous product. This one is loud, but not deafening, and it's short. This product is perfect for my fiancé and I. It gets the job done and it's easy to use. I recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An update of the classic we had. This is actually an update of our old stacked unit (actually a Kenmore built by Whirlpool) which served us for 19 years, so this was a repeat purchase. We did shop around, but decided to stick with what we had and were glad to see it is still in production! We live in a 24 X 44 mobile home of less than 1,000 square feet and the stacked combo saves on floor space, plus my wife is fairly short and cannot reach the bottom of the washer or the back of the dryer of other stacked units. The agitator has been redesigned and the cycles run faster (without the pauses between functions) so I can tell the machine is evolving.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product has great features I love my Thin Twin. I have such a little space for a washer and dryer and it fits right in there. A set of sheets fit with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but powerful! This is my 2nd Whirlpool stack set. Due to space in my new home I needed the smallest model. To my surprise I even love this one more than my last. It is small but cleans like a charm. My clothes come out of the washer damp as it extracts the water very well. The dryer works great as well I never even need a full cycle I use the less dryer option!! Perfect! I love my Whirlpool!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Apartments and Condos This washer/dryer unit is ideal for apartment and condo dwellers. I love the size!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed. We are a retired couple, thus do not have large amounts of laundry. While the washer unit is satisfactory, the dryer is AWFUL! Even when we run the dryer cycle for three towels, for example, we have to run the cycle twice. Even then, the towels are not dry. We end up having to spread out the semi-dry items on the beds to get them completely dry. The service provider and salesman told us, essentially, that that is just the way it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very convenient to use An excellent product for tight spaces. Does an outstanding job of washing and drying slightly smaller loads. Is not noisy.
Date published: 2013-12-27
Rated 1 out of 5 by from marginally usable, low quality product A few months after purchase, the machine started exhibiting increasingly louder levels of noise, both from what turned out to be defective brakes, and from what seems to be inadequate design to prevent unbalance and simply overall noise. The unit would literally vibrate so badly that it would move inside its closet under some conditions; we obviously cannot leave the unit unattended if in use, which is extremely inconvenient. To be noted, we've been careful to even out the loads, avoid overload, and basically experimented multiple times to see if we're doing something wrong. The overall sound levels would be so bad that we're left wondering if this was ever thought to be used inside an inhabited house. The conclusion is that this a a cheaply made, marginally usable unit which to date, we're unsure if it's been maligned with a manufacturing defect (we've had it thoroughly serviced to get this possibility out of the way), or this is just what the unit is capable by design. Very dissatisfied.
