Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design and poor quality control Save your money. This is the worst oven I've ever owned. I replaced the previous model (4 year old) and I'm sorry I did. First of all, quality control. This oven arrived with a dented door and an extremely nosey fan motor. I receive a message every time I use the microwave oven to open and close the door before it will operate. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this unit. From the front, it looks great. If you have it mounted on the end of your cabinet like I did, you can see the mounting screws and unfinished metal edge. My older unit had a stainless steel trim piece that covered this. The microwave fan stays on until you open the microwave. Normally, when something is done cooking, you get a beep and the microwave shuts off. This one continues the fan running forever or until you open the door. How can this be energy efficient? Ad this with the extremely noisy fan and its very irritating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is just what I needed When I started looking for a new oven (lightning took the old one ), I wanted an oven large enought to bake two pans side by side. This is it and it is 19 inches deep. Another great feature is the steam clean for small spills--I could not believe that you just pour a small amount of water in the bottom of the oven and turn it to steam-clean. At first, I thought these people are crazy--but the heating element is sealed , so it works like a charm. The only problem that I had when it was new was the oven was not hot enough. I recalebrated it myself, with a oven thermometer barrowed from the dealer, following the directions in the literature which came with it. So carried away with the oven, I almost forgot the very nice microwave that comes with it. Both are very nice looking additions to my kitchen...Thank you Whirlpool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value We selected this combination oven during a recent remodel after doing lots of research. This is a good product and good value. We've used the oven and microwave but haven't even begun to learn all of its capabilities. We've used them without ever once cracking the manual, so it's easy to figure out how to do the basics. We haven't used the "convection" features yet or adjusted recipes, but we'll learn. The best way to know what you really think is ask yourself "what you buy this same product", and the answer for us is yes. The only con is the noisy fan when the oven cools down. There might be a way to turn the fan noise off or reduce it, but as I said, I haven't opened the manual yet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the size and functionality Hate the noise We have had this combo for 6 months. It replaced a double wall oven and a microwave on the counter. The microwave is great and very spacious compared to other wall microwaves. The oven works well, haven't had to steam clean yet but will likely do it soon. We did have to calibrate the oven but the directions worked. Our only issue is the oven is very noisy regardless if you use the convection or the regular. In addition, the fan continues to run to cool the oven once off for about 10-15 minutes. Since we have a very open concept house this noise can sometimes interfere with entertaining so we just make sure everything is done before guests arrive. Overall very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Impressions are Good! The Whirlpool Combination Microwave Wall Oven with Convection Cooking unit is very sleek and complements my kitchen nicely. So far it is up to the task of both cooking in the oven and microwaving. The buttons are a little tough to press but other than that I don't have any complaints. I can't speak to the longevity of the product as it was just installed a few weeks ago. I like that the microwave and oven are combined so I don't have to use counter space for a microwave. It would be nice if the oven was a bit larger since I am used to having the two ovens but so far it has been OK.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great style and functionality We bought this based on the style and the fact that it was a combination MW & Oven. The oven works really well, much better than the last oven we had. The microwave is of lower wattage and we have to cook things longer than we did previously, however it still does a good job. The timer only does hours and minutes. The racks are easy to adjust the baking is even and consistent. The controls are pretty easy to learn, but do take a bit of adjustment from what we knew before. Miss the express microwave settings we had before. The oven keeps a fan running which is rather noisy until the temperature of the oven drops to a certain level. Since the fan stays on a long time, it appears the oven does hold heat very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Microwave / Oven Combo work Terrifically Push button controls are easy to I identify and use, especially while using both at the same time. Using appliances for our the first holiday season was just perfect. Everything turned out beautifully timed and cooked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY POOR product Do NOT buy this product! It was installed this last May (2012) and the microwave has already failed and so far cannot be repaired.
