Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thoughtfully designed This attractive refrigerator is large enough to hold all of our groceries with ease, but still fits in to our smaller kitchen. The design places products used most often at eye level and just below, making everything easier to see and retrieve. Less frequently used freezer items are logically placed at the bottom. One shelf has an optional portion which rolls back to allow taller items to be stored upright. One recommendation: the entire fridge tends to roll out slightly from the wall when the freezer is opened. It is easy to roll back into place, but would be better with something to prevent the unit from moving at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for smaller spaces I love all 3 of my Whirlpool kitchen appliances first and foremost =) This fridge is quiet, has plenty of room for a smaller cubic foot fridge- We are a family of 2 now, since our daughter is married and on her own, we have no problem fitting all of our foods in our new Whirlpool fridge....I recommend this fridge for tighter spaces, and if you don't have a ton of food that needs to be refrigerated and frozen..... The freezer is quite roomy for a smaller fridge, I am overall very pleased with my purchase of this fridge....Very pretty monochromatic stainless steel exterior, love the French side by side doors too, bottom freezer is convenient too....5 stars.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Unit * Stainless finish is sharp and does not show fingerprints * Bottom freezer is super convenient. You will not inspect the freezer as frequently as the refridgerator, so keep the freezer on the bottom. * French doors allow you some flexibility as to where to orient the unit. * It's on the small side. This unit fits perfectly in my tiny condo kitchen The best surprise this refridgerator had was it's shelving configurations. You can fold the upper shelf in half to make room for taller objects. There is also a shallow, bottom drawer which is designed for dairy products and cut meats. I really dug this feature because it forced me into organizing my refridgerator. The shelves on the doors hold all of my beer and a one-gallon milk jug. Altogether, this is a great unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed with freezer space The freezer has 2 parts. The top is a sliding drawer. It covers the bottom Deeper section. I can't find anything because its so deep that things get lost. The capacity seems less than a freezer on top model. The fridge has poor storage for taller items. The door shelves are not the same as a single door for space. Inside one shelf slides back to make room for taller items but this reduces usable space quite significantly. I hate the crispers. They don't open well. I had to add a lubricant to the plastic so that they slide better but it's still crude. I do love the lower tray and use it for cheeses and spreads.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product over all. very handy for my small condo kitchen. French doors are great and the freezer is nicely set up. the bins in the fridge are good but the runners that the drawers open and shut on seem to be a bit a design modification might help..(.or the veg that I put in there are heavier than the runners can take.!.)...I think that there needs to be more space for taller items in this model....but overall I really like it was about time that a French door 30" fridge was available!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I have trouble with noise, temperature maintenance and ice maker overflow.. Thank goodness I bought an extended warranty. Our 30" French Door unit is beautiful and what I needed for access with a bad back. However, I've had a series of problems for which we have not yet sought extended warranty help. Our troubles have been with motor noise, temperature, ice maker and freezer light bulb. The unit arrived with a broken freezer light bulb which no longer is available from Whirlpool, Lowe's or websites visited. I've received 4 replacement bulbs supposed to work but none fit the receptacle.. The refrigerator has since arrival made a grinding noise when starting. We have leveled, tried adjusting the filter, adjusted the position and asked the installer to return several times but the problem is not solved. Also, the non-factory Whirlpool ice maker overflows sending ice cubes under the freezer compartment. Ice comes out onto the floor when the freezer is opened. I had 52 cubes below the freezer compartment once and 38 another time when cleaning out the cubes. Now I raise the arm when the ice receptacle is full but I don't think I should have to. Temperature is also an issue. I have 2 thermometers inside (top and bottom). The setting level must be # 4 (5 is coldest) in order to keep the temperature below 40 degrees. The recommended average (3 star) temp setting measured 42 degrees inside. Our electric company advises refrigerators be 38-40 degrees to maintain food safety. I still love the look of the unit and will call for service now that I know it's needed and not a function of incomplete installation from February. It's a shame to have so many things wrong. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of fridge with a small footprint in our kitchen! This is a great fridge in general, but a real "must-have" in a busy galley kitchen! We started our search for a French door fridge when we had trouble getting past one another during food preparation and cleanup times. There were very few on the market that were the correct height and width to fit in our fridge location. At first glance I was worried there wouldn't be enough space for tall items, but the sliding shelf and large door baskets provide enough room for several milk and juice jugs. I love the full-width shallow drawer. It a great place to put low items like eggs or cheese, or a whole platter when you are preparing appetizers for guests. The humidity controls on the produce drawers prevent our fruits and vegetables from drying out. Having the bottom freezer is ideal for us. The drawers and dividers are very convenient. I find I can stand up things such as bags of fruits or frozen pie shells on their side to make it easy to find everything, while making maximum use of the space available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the brand "Whirpool" speaks for itself. the furniture store where we bought this refrigerator also stands for trust and exceptional invaluable aide in Before I made my purchase of a refrigerator I read all consumer magazines available to me for ratings, ideas, styles prices etc. Growing up my family purchased "Whirlpool" appliances whenever possible. We. Trusted the brand for their excellent reputation & past experiences. Making this purchase I looked at many different brands to find out what they all could offer me. When I saw this refrigerator I knew it was the one I wanted. It had exactly all I wanted. Besides the features it had I liked the appearance of it. Plus the measurements were exact for the space I had. I never take purchases lightly or buy quickly. For my family we trust an appliance will stand the test of time, which we know this will. We have had it now for a few months & its not in any way disappointed.
