Rated 5 out of 5 by from More range than 'just a range' Our 'builder model' range literally died by pieces, and being a former appliance salesperson, I knew we would find our best model and our best value with Whirlpool. I did my research and balanced cost and features, and found this model Whirlpool range. What an amazing list of features in an appliance that's not even too pricey. I hadn't seen a digitally adjustable broiling temperature feature, combined with self-clean in such a sensible model range. It's even featured with a larger window in the glass door, and we were able to get it in all white - including the glass front. This is the model and Whirlpool is the brand to get!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking stove I've had the stove for almost six months. It's taken a while to get used to the touch pad oven settings after many years of just turning a dial for the temp and oven modes. My previous stove was a Kenmore from 1978 which may have been made for Sears by Whirlpool. The metal on my new stove seems much lighter especially the bottom storage drawer. It could have been made more sturdier. I also miss the individual lights to show which burners are on rather than just one for all the burners. The price for the stove was reasonable. No problems so far. I did buy the extended warranty mainly because of the computerized settings. The stove does look nice in my kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we wanted We didn't want to change to a flat top stove so we searched for one with the coil elements. When we found this one we knew we'd found our replacement. It looks modern and updated with the black and stainless. The stove top heats quickly and evenly. The oven also preheats quickly and unlike our previous oven actually reaches the temperature you set. We are very happy with the unit. The one issue is the black stove top surface is tough to keep clean. It shows fingerprints and streaks almost anytime you wipe it down. We are still trying to find the best way to clean off the prints and streaks. other then that - which is a cosmetic thing - its great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We wanted the same brand and model. I know nothing about ovens/stove tops. The last one finally gave out, so I figured that Whirlpool makes reliable, long lasting ones. I'm very happy with our purchase. But I don't really like to use complicated things, so it took me several weeks to look at the panel and notice that there is a light button for the oven. I was delighted to finally notice this. The oven works VERY well too, and is easy to operate. I like the stove top eyes too, they heat up quite rather quickly. I honestly don't know about the energy savings because our energy bills are so low anyway. But I suspect that it's probably even more energy efficient than the old one we had.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lots of problems We bought this stove 3 years ago and have had to replace 2 on/off burner switches and cannot keep the broiler working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is a great asset to my kitchen I love the ease of use of the oven and the fact that when preheating, it beeps to let me know it has reached the temperature I selected. I also love having a little red light that lets me know if any of the burners have been left on. I do wish the dials for the burners had more settings rather than just "high" or "low." I have to guess when my recipe says to turn the heat down to medium low or medium high. I really dislike the drawer at the bottom for pots and pans because it's not balanced which makes it difficult to close straight. Also, I did not get a booklet with it (other than a troubleshooting booklet), so I don't know what the control lock is or how to use some of the features like timer (Example: can I set timer while oven is on?) All in all, though, I would recommend the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, this range is exactly what I wanted - a range that was mainly white, not a ceramic top in this location. The main BAD feature of this range is the cheap drawer mechanism; when the drawer is pulled out, it very easily goes off-track. I store pans for use in the oven there and it is an annoyance. Also, the back of the drawer is low and often allows pans to fall behind the drawer to be "fished"out. Otherwise, I would have given an excellent rating to this range. Also, the key that indicates which stove top eye is on/off is not as clear as it could be. I have figured this out but it took a while.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from bakes well one of the burners heats up very fast and is very hard to regulate-a little harder to control other burners heat-only one on/off light for 4 burners- burners controls not clear- so which knob for which burner confusing- so overall a little harder to use burners-clock is also the temperature indicator which can be confusing if you forget to turn it off- see the digits and think you turned it off bottom drawer is to light weight to hold many items - wont close- if more than a few pots in it do like the way it bakes and controls.
