Rated 1 out of 5 by from This microwave is horrible. I moved in on 04-30-2010. I have the same problem with the magtrometer. We received the microwave withour housing developer. The developer used all whirlpool products. The microwave is awful. Within the first few months, the magtrometer had to be replaced. A few months later the directional thingy burned out. Now, the microwave has to be replaced. The extended warranty does not cover full replacement. They offer a deprecated cost. In this case, they offer 329.00 for a 439.00 or so microwave. I am not happy. Run very fast from this product! Oh, and do get me started on the beep. and reminder beeps - even when you are only using the Timer! BTW, I have an Emerson that I purchased in 1995 that has been used continuously, and it is still working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after 18 months I wish I had read all these reviews before buying this microwave. Had it for only 18 months and it started putting up the F7 error code. I'm debating if I want to spend any money at all to fix it based on how many people have had the same problems over and over after it was supposedly fixed. We have an entire house full of Whirlpool products and love them, but I can not express how strongly dissatisfied I am with this one. If Whirlpool doesn't realize that they have a problem here and make things right, I'll never buy another product of theirs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy at your own risk This item was purchased as part of a kitchen remodel. Within 2 months following installation, it stopped working. After replacing the mag and other parts, it still didn't work right. After two more failures and attempts to repair by replacing the mag, making a total of 3 mags in 2 years, it was finally determined that the mag was not the cause of the problems, but rather that the wave guide was melting. I received approximately 25% of the original cost to obtain a replacement. Based on my experience and that of others as posted in the reviews here, it's obvious that there is a major problem with the model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MICROWAVE Used this microwave twice, and it stopped working, took out insurance which was against my better judgement(who would think you would need this for A new appliance, but good thing I did.The touch pad needs to be replaced, which had to be ordered, and then schedule a service tech.Had guests which was hoping to use the appliance but that wasnt possible. This should have been replaced with a new item but instead they have to come out 4 times for the same thing before they will give you a new one.As far as I am concerned, this thing IS JUNK

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyers BEWARE!! Oh my lord! This has been such an ordeal! As the previous reviewers have posted, I had this microwave installed by my developer. We moved in on August 7, 2011 and the microwave quit heating a bout 2 months later. The technician came and changed a couple of parts and then about a month later, BOOM! the microwave began making this really scary noise. So we had the technician come over again and tell us the microwave is unrepairable. So I am now looking for a new microwave by Whirlpool but will definitely NOT take this model again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped Heating after 1 Year Microwave suddenly stopped heating after 1 year. Turns on and spins fine. In doing research, this appears to be a problem with many new homeowners with inverters/magnatrons dying. Going to cost me over $150 to get it repaired since the warranty is only 1 year, and it died a couple weeks after warranty expired. Strongly encourage doing research into reviews only first for the model number before pulling the trigger on this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Product Broke after 14 Months Looks like Whirlpool started making products that break after a year ( where your warranty expires). I have seen several microwaves working for years & years with out any issues. The issue with this is that the Interface board is broke which is suppling the power to Magnetron. I can not expect these kind of parts to break. The cost of this part is 260$ and if you add labor to it for another 100$ the thats the cost of this mircowave. My recomendation would be not to go for this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Magnatron went out 1 month out of Warranty. We switched all of our appliances to Whirlpool Stainless. Microwave looks awesome. After 9 months started getting error messages that read " Clean Filters". They were clean. Then error message saying call Service Technician. Unplugged and then worked great for several weeks. Now won't heat at all and F7 error code. Now unit is out of warranty! Technician came out and said the Magnatron has failed. Stay Away!
